dude,

any specific disease in ur mind?? cause if they do carry disease, all of us should be in trouble by now.. some of us having them for years now...

so its no.. they dont carry disease if u get a homebreed suggie.

by the way.. welcome.. please do your research n read the first page before getting your suggie.

well no one can categorise as best food
what we do know is in m'sia got 3 types of staple food for sg
HPW(very common-easy to get),BML diet and gliderSlurp(made by crazymouse_yyh)

along side with the staple diet we give fruits and vege
to top up we give some supplements like gliderade, glider booster, acasia gum etc
more on that we give treats like yogurt drops, mealworm, crickets, dubia etc

as u see sg are offered a huge variety so they get all the nutrience they need to stay healthy

Erm..you nid to check the overall ratio of your fruits and vege..of course it's hard to get it accurately but at least you can estimate roughly..so you will know the portion of calcium powder and yogurt u nid to put in..

If the ratio is already high in calcium, then u chunk in more calcium powder, end up it will be overdose calcium.

Make sure you peel off the skin of grapes and startfruit, and don put so much..because they are kinda high in oxalic acid.

Usually they hiss when they wake up. They just wanna tell everyone in the world that they are awake LOL. Barking cuz it wants attention. You will hear a lot of these now Jolene, since you have two.. brows.gif

Haizzz another one bites the dust doh.gif i dunno what to say.. sometimes it can be too frustrating to answer these kinds of questions. By the looks of it, you dint do any research on gliders. Suddenly pregnant dah.. and you not even ready. You dont ask if the male shud be seperated or not.. if you did your research, MALES and FEMALES work together as a TEAM to bring up the joeys. When mom goes out to eat, daddy takes over the job of taking care of the joeys. Please read the first page.. eric already pretty much put a lot of effort to lay out a LOT of info that covers every aspects of gliders~ take some initiative to do some actual research. yawn.gif

Male gliders if in tact of coz botak ma~

Good one SCC.

@Mingwai89, This is your first time having pregnant gliders, so go and study and read more bout glider breeding before it's too late. Anything can happen, especially rejection baby. And I hope you are feeding proper diet and nutrition to your gliders pair before this, otherwise the chances of rejection will be higher.

Please don't feel offended by our words here becasue we are pretty straight forward. Our direction here is not to spoon feeding owners but encourage owners especially newbie to take their own initiative in learning bout glider keeping. Of course, this is an open forum, it's for public discussion. But i guess you will absorb easier and more if you study first before asking questions.
