The alpha male's bald spot usually will be noticeably bigger. The bald spot on the sons will be smaller & not as visible. Once the alpha male is removed then the bald spot will become more noticeable on the offspring. This case is what happened with Joey when he went to his new home & his bald spot became very obvious. However though by hierarchy males other than the alpha male should not mate, the risk of the non-alpha mating with the females is still there. This applies to mother and female siblings.

Guys, 1 of my glider is acting abnormal.
-Normally she is one of the most crab and trying to run away
-Today she just stand and stare and wont move at all unless necessary

I think it is because yesterday I let her run all over my room and might be consuming some dust as well.

my suggie got 1 injection for her skin infection =( its not over grooming or self mutilation as what dr jenny told me.

Wow thanks for the fast reply. How often do we need to clean their cage?
And to clean the cage, are we suppose to wipe or wash?

I heard ppl mention cleaning the cage using water + vinegar to reomve the smell. Have you try that before?

....errr.. vinegar don't kill bacteria & viruses?  .

i clean my pets area with bleach . 3cups water mix with 2drops of bleach. that kills bacteria and really does help to reduce odors .but after u do that make sure u wipe the area with plain water again cuz bleach is quite strong.

I heard the minimum cage size is 24 x 24 x 36. Is that the minimum?
I mean, if we get any cage smaller than the above size, it's not comfortable for the sugar glider is it?

anyone here have experience dealing with matted hair?

i tried using warm water to wipe it(tried few days already),but its not helping...weird thing is both of my girl is having it at the same location

i did think of trimming it off..but its better for me to consult some expert here 1st.

hey guys,wat do u think of RC33 for glider's treat cuz RC32/34 is a bit more saltier due to cat's food while RC33 is for small dogs like chi hua hua,miniature pinscher n ect ect nt so salty~
i remember too salty is not good for our pets expect for cats,correct me if i'm wrong cuz i wen to a pet shop to survey kibbles where they sold mostly RC's brand~

Yo my fellow glider owner...my gf just get a cute glider from kelvin last saturday and she been curious and active since the first day we bring her home. She only make the barking sound once only, it's when my gf try to get her out from her sleeping pouch in the evening  ...she is quite tame and can bond with us quite easily, kelvin did a pretty good job at taming her before hand xD so there is no serious trouble handling her. trying to get a partner for her from jitshiong tonight if possible as i think she would enjoy having someone who can speak her language i suppose   

will send her to the vet in a couple weeks for health check    and picture will be uploaded once i hv collect all of em *peace

getting a male ...hmm if they dun get along well den seperate them wif different cage...let them hv their time in bonding 1st..is that ok ar? heh i noe its too soon to get another but still something good are in pairs  @@

eric if i go i wanna show you what furla (the sweet little girl glider) i was sooo worried being raped by RJ did to the big softy RJ..       she ripped out the middle of his backabout half an inch sampai nampak muscles and bone!!! i had to take him to get stitches from dr jenny...this happened after he was neutered...now they are separated and waiting till he's fully healed baru nak reintroduce..but i keep switching cages and pouches to keep them used to each other's smells.
