here's two pictures of my Xiao Gui (previously named Bear).

she is definitely one of a kind! she was underaged when I got her, but, she is a natural pro killing mealworms. out of all my gliders (none of them had mealworms prior), she was the only one who attacked it at first sight. she doesn't bite me out of aggression (though she nibbles on me for more food.. the little pig!) and she doesn't seem to grow up. i've been feeding her HPW since I got her, but she is still very tiny eventhough her tail is fluffy now... i'm sure she does not suffer from malnutrition because she's a fighter. she fights the bigger gliders for her food and on top of that, i give her a little extra HPW and protein.

on top of that, she's very curious and active. she wakes up during the evening and climbs all over me and explores my room.

Xiao Gui aka Bear

my other gliders, King, Honey and Meeko are also very special. King moves like a slowpoke and is very shy!! Honey likes to be alone and bark.. As for Meeko, he's just as adventurous as Xiao Gui, climbing on top of my curtains and riding on top of my head. He's the most bitey of the lot, but he doesn't bite if you handle him roughly, he just bites when he thinks you've got food. LOL.

Bear indeed looks like a fighter. She is lucky.

I think Meeko stands out the most, he is so dark, black beauty dark.

spoit glider..too manja by u already..Yueyi reporting from ipoh...they are in their big cage jumping around happily..it's like vacation for them also..ipoh cage is much wider..hahaha..but 2ml going to stay in 3ft cage since going balik kampung..and no internet...

so i wanna take this opportunity to wish all u guys HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR..those not celebrating take this opportunity to visit frens and also time for yourself to relax and unwind..hehe..

This morning I saw my SG eat her own poo!!!! Means what? I am so worry...)=

It's either she is stress or her digestive system is not functioning well... That means she didnt fully digest the food, so she eat her own poo..

Try to feed higher fiber food and see.. if is becoz of stress, then you nid to find out the reason why she is feeling stress.

Hi..i'm new here...wanna ask a few questions :

Why is my glider doesn't seems 2 grow fatter n bigger after having her for a month ? The diet i'm feeding her now is friuts ,celery ,sweet potato(her favourite) ,choy sam ,mengkuang (rarely) ,HPW (everyday) ,glider booster (almost everyday) , gliderade (seldom) , glider cal ( one pinch a week )...
how 2 introduce her acacia gum n yogurt drop ? cusz she doesn't wan 2 eat the yogurt drop tat i feed her..
will she gain the correct amount of calcium n protein everyday from the diet that i'm feeding her ?

Is it ok 2 leave her alone when she barks in the midnight (around 3am) ? csz i heard her barking yesterday , i brought her out from the cage n she stays quietly on me ...but i'll be asleep by that time usually, except yesterday -Chinese New Year ...

There are a lot controversial issue in glider diet. So, there is neither right or wrong, but the option that you chose.

Dog/cat kibbles shouldn't be fed to gliders as staple for long period, because of the hardiness, fat content, and ingredients of the kibbles..

Different recipe has their own ingredients, for this case, dog biscuit is jus part of it. And dont forget, it's a MIX. so if i assume you blend this one batch of recipe can last one glider for months..that means the glider doesnt consume a lot dog biscuit in a day actually.. And don forget, they don feed raw like that..it's blended mix..

And, it's OK to feed your glider dog/cat biscuit as treats..mayb one small kibble every one or two weeks.. Jus make sure there is no garlic and onion inside..

Why not. as long as you properly introduce them.
