as far as i know ... most of the time when u ask the mech, they will say must overhaul one .... sick of those mechs

I use Eneos semi syn (RM97 punya). Dunno wat to see at engine bay...but I think there's some oil stain (minor) near the alternator area.

issit 10W40? ?
if yes meaning u need to change thicker oil to 15W50 already~

thats confirm is semi syn 10w40 ....
check ur muffler tip .... check engine bay (u bad luck, ,my laptop rosak cant show u pics) but....

that pic, I see some oil stain on the left most red highlight. Between the air-intake and the engine. But mine doesn't have anything there...your pic like got a fuel filter...

erm, how does thicker oil help?

the pic i post just a sample i found online ... its a mivec 4g92 if i am not wrong...
u now wipe that area clean, then refill ur engine oil to the normal point and slowly monitor .. if engine oil hilang but no stains, then mostly inside problem but if both is visible then all u need is change the valve cover gasket (something like this http://khguan.fotopic.net/c900753.html )

when u use thicker viscosity oil, then the engine oil wont flow so freely around ... the down part is the oil is thicker and heavier thus ur engine need to work harder.. which might leads to lower responsive compared to thinner oil .... some ppl might not even feel the different coz just 10+/- ...

is flushing a good practice ever time changing engine oil?
btw, anyone can recommend good workshop/tyre shop to replace all 4 stock Wira Sedan 1.5GL spring and absorber, and nice if quote the labour cost for also

err ... refer to khguan's fotopic lo .... he DIY himself...
about flushing, i myself plan to flush every 20k km (special blend i learn from cheeann, 3L thin engine oil + RM1 diesel) ... brows.gif
oh that question ah ... sure i recommend cheeann lo ... u find him, he will finish up everything nicely for u ... labour cost, sure very expensive cheap, if u mention my name whistling.gif ... but if u say Max, then different story ... rolleyes.gif

u go ask cheeann la ... he tell me de ...
any thin oil can liao .... maybe 5w30 .... or similar thin oil lo ...

1stly pour the rm1 diesel into ur engine, then add the oil .. then start car maybe wait 5 mins then off it and drain .... btw keep ur old filter, after finish drain and when wan pour new oil only change new filter ... like that gua ...
ask cheeann or katak for more details
