The GMA HD comes with the CPU, not the mobo

Last time tested gma 950 output to 20'' 1440x900 watching 720p, still sufficient tongue.gif

If the gpu not enough, the cpu should help...
just like some previous post, 9600m gt to decode the samsung oceanic video but still need 40% cpu usage~

Well, as long the movies is around 4-8GB shouldn't be any problem...

Processor , it depends , the processor has it . Its up to the OEM to allow users to use hybrid graphics or not (aka switch to Intel or dedicated graphics). The graphics card is part of the i5 and i3

Only i7 dual core, the quad core doesn't come with GMA HD...

all the new dual core has GPU built into it...

it's a matter of mobo choice by the OEM...

HM55, HM57, QM55 and QS55 have the bus that connects to the GPU and the display output, while PM55 has none of those...
