just small injury. my motorcycle also quite fine. but my lappy sad.gif i am wondering if it will take long time to repair?

does benq cover accident warranty?

if got the part, can finish in 1-2 weeks time la
but if don have, have to wait the part from penang, or ship ur laptop to penang fix and send back..those sort prolly take 3 week or even more

Better call BenQ SC first..or much more easier way would be email nod.gif..ask them if got stock or not, and also how long for it to be done..and i think yours will be covered under warranty smile.gif (hopefully)...

damn i got problem to boot into live mode...
hell...i guess the only way to use linux in s42 is to hard install as an alternative OS..

i dont flash my bios to xp. instead my bios version is 1.15. there is no problem with my graphic smile.gif

Yes you can..no need to flash to XP bios also can nod.gif..that just a command line for keyboard & touchpad smile.gif

dunno how to config ler..
last time i try to install alongside with win xp on my acer..
my grub corrupted..
since then i only use one os... sweat.gif sweat.gif

just run a furmark stability test for 1150 sec..
forgot to PS.. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
but the temp highest is 88, from 531 sec onward it stays at 87c...
lucky i got log the temp..

While booting on grub, the keyboard still works...just that after you get onto the installation, keyboard cannot be recognized smile.gif
