BCP should be more stable coz bigger (i duno coz i never fly BCP b4)
4G6 will get away from u very fast and is very sensitive and twitchy compared to BCP ...

but if your budget can cover 4G6 then u can oso get my king + radio already .. hahahahaa .. only need to pay abit more to buy batt ... tongue.gif
*
I want to get 4G6 not because of the heli itself, it is because of the 2801 Tx with the package. Hehehe, your offer quite tempted but in penang hard to find parts lah. So at this moment I want to look for RTF and see how my skill first later.

Of course is 4g6. Bigger heli is easier to control.

4g6 bigger than BCP?? or you were talking about BCP is easier to control?

ET6I, 2.4GHz one .......
Hmmm, from your suggestion something came across my mind. I can swap the stick maybe ...... then it will be mode 2 already ... of course I have to open up the Tx .....
The one you told me is that doing like this? Because if just change the wire connections then the throttle control will always be in the centre position already ......
Going to google the solution later .... thanks ya ....

Oh ya.... google first too before you go to sim...
You must off the CCPM setting of the TX inable to sim~
Any sim will works with the tx....
*
I think I have seen that before, that should be a switch in the battery compartment. I am headache to find the sim cable now, the Tx did not come with sim cable.

as for SIM software .. i am using realflight G4.5
*
Are you talking about the dongle for the sim software?

Realflight most likely. For the USB dongle, is this the one?

I think the emulator that Qiw talking about is a piece of software and the one that Cliffang talking about is a piece of hardware.

I believe the "ahem" version one can work without hardware dongle and you just need a connection in between the PC and Tx, this should be the sim cable and it should the cable I posted the link for ESky one. ...

go google DONGLE EMULATOR for realflight
u can use your ESKY usb dongle with the emulator and realflight .. up to G4.5
*
OK, thanks. ESky USB dongle is a cable to connect to the Tx trainer port and another side to PC USB port, right?

daddoo... how are you doing with your BCP v2? can do inverted hover d?
*
Wow, I am not a god gifted heli pilot lah ..... I don't even dare to lift off from the ground.
Now just playing around with the servos only, check to see how the controls work practically (and not reading from webs cos it's slow and boring), this really speed up my learning curve.

The next step I will do is to order the training kit or DIY, then some tools like the pitch gauge to learn setting up my BCP V2 first, there is a lot of videos ....

Then only I will gear up the training and try lifting up and hover ....... also, do sim a lot at the same time ......

the emulator i am using is a software ...
i just plug in the ESKY cable from TX to USB port on PC
no other hardware required ..

reading and videos helps u more than u think .. a properly set up heli makes learning and flying much much easier especially for new ppl

SIM kow kow 1st ... then only try to spin up the heli .. this will save u alot of $$$ and time
the training kit is very cheap ... no need to DIY laa .. hahaha
*
OK, I guess I will follow your advice, will not try to spin up before mastering the control in Sim .... I know it's cheap and it is around RM30 only, but in Penang here don't have too much rc shop and therefore I need to order online most of the time. When you do that you have to make sure they have stock (because I know that their website not so updated one) then place order, transfer $$$ and wait for shipping .... so troublesome. This simple DIY is the easiest for my case tongue.gif

HEhehehe, should consider to move to KL .........

While working on the training kit, I think I have to mod my Tx as well because the Tx come in mode 1 but I expect it to be a mode 2 Tx.

I have a chance to open up the Tx and take a look. Too bad that I cannot swap the rockers to each other side. Have to take out the a spring from left to right (throttle) and switch the wire connection. The function of the spring is to move the rocker back to the central automatically.

their website dun have oh ..... heheheh and a bit messy so a bit hard to search for stuff ....
Nvm lah, I will give them a call and ask ......
Tonight so poor, daughter come back and cant touch my toy, hahahha still a baby and need to take care together with wife ....

Added on March 12, 2010, 10:57 pmOhhhh, I think something wrong with the controls.
I have successfully mod my Tx to mode 2, then only I found that the control a bit weird where the left hand stick should control the throttle and yaw (spin clockwise or anti clockwise).

But actual case the Tx left hand stick controlling throttle and AILERON!!!

I guess the heli should have some wrong connection with the receiver ..... now trying to correct the problem

I am suspecting the wrong connections at the receiver, if I remember correctly it is already like that before I mod the Tx. I am just lucky that I found this after the mod when I read the instruction manual again.

It's true that I just swap the position of the gimbal set but eventhough I swap it back it will still exhibit the samething, right?

Hehehehe, my orientation is a bit worse .... just did some swapping again and now only i got everything correct with mode 2 ..... it is not the receiver connection problem.

now my left stick is use for throttle and rudder (yaw) and right stick for aileron and elevtor .....

Should tidy up everything and go to bed else later wife will make noise already ... kakakkakaka

What's the difference between rc heli and plane?
Which you would prefer to play more?

I guess the cost to play rc plane is cheaper than heli ....
