GOOD 1~~  rclxms.gif  thumbup.gif
There's no good reading that will help to improve the skill but marely understanding....
Training is the key.... just like riding bicycle.... At first you'll need to think what to do next... till you are used to it and your subconsious mind take care of everything without you even think through...

You can try google for some simulation, there's a wide variety of choice with variety of price, depands on how much you wanna go into this hobby...
If you just like to play for fun, just get a cheap 1... but wanted to go further, should get those which are similiar to actual RC heli...
The blade have different size.... just like kancil cannot share the tyre from Pajero.... unless you clarify that it so share... GOOGLE is your best friend here...
also try hobbysportz.... but if you can't get it locally... most of us here will import from oversea, but of course you'll have to look into the import rules and regulations....

Added on June 3, 2010, 9:31 amFinally, i've done the spektrum electronics parts on 4G6, setting the booster volt to 3.9v.... but have to change the main rotor head.... it seems bended from the crash hitting the PILLOW~!!! making the tail going gila-gila~~ at first it hold really well till it hit the pillow~
*
Yaloh, 4G6 is too sensitive to everything. My 4G6 now the tail totally cannot hold correctly, start with 6 o'clock position, then once in a while drift to 9, drift back to 6 and to 3 again ........ rclxub.gif

Maybe I should learn to fly in rate mode .....

For HH mode if I have drift, can I just move the servo position on tail boom to counter the drift?

Quite kow also .... within 5 seconds I think drift to 70 degrees .....

Hmmmm .... if that's the case I think I am going to adjust the position to counter already ... hopefully it works ....

Same to my 4G6 also ... that's why I am thinking of using rate mode .... better still ... more predictable .....

Maybe langgar too much, so parts no good already. Fortunately I am not crashing Trex else I will sakit hati .......

So fast end of life? I know if you take good care of your battery it will last around 2 years.

I won't be that slow lah, no need 2 years I can do all orientation and FF because I am doing SIM for these actions tongue.gif

You can try the following for limit function:
1.) Disconnect your motor.
2.) Connect your battery as usual just like your are going to fly the heli.
3.) Left to right and right to left your rudder.
4.) Observe how much your tail slider can go.
5.) Remember your limit's pot position and adjust fully to min.
6.) Repeat step 3.) and you should be able to see the difference.

Delay function not sure what is that and don't know how to check, anyone ar?

No lah, it is more like a trial and error to show you what is Limit function.

When you heard your tail servo binding it may be your servo travel too much, adjusting the limit's pot can reduce the travel.

I Installed a LV booster boosting the voltage to 3.9v....
Ya.. i crash it after speck while trying to set it right... yesterday changed the main shaft, damper, swash plate... blade tracking... and the 4g6 is back to business... no more vibration..

Tonight will mod it with T250 skid....and changed a loose linkage and it is all done.... flex.gif

Try to determine abnormal vibration..... i can caused the drift..

Last time i learnt a lesson that...... vibration will cause tail drift.... when gyro in HH mode... your rudder servo will over work... as the result VERY VERY SHORT LIFE SPAN.... So now, i'm very caution on the abnormal vibration...
*
Where did you get the damper for 4G6? Comes together with the head block?

Hehehehhehe, my rudder servo already gone I think, although it still can work but when it moves to certain position, it will be very twitchy and you can hear the buzzing.

Talking about the vibration, you wont feel vibration at all when you thottle 75% and holding the heli's skid with your hand? I will feel a little bit of vib ....

Not as strong as the handphone one but the vib frequency is about the same. Happens to the tail boom and the body also. Even when I touch the plastic cover of the 4in1 receiver I can feel this vib as well.....

Goossssshhhhhhh, changed a lot of parts but still don't know where this vib comes from.

Haiya, I also want to get rid of it .... but don't know how to identify the source.

I can just think of removing every single piece of part then troubleshooting from there to check for vib.

From what I've heard, it is normal when it is in low speed. As long as this disappear when the speed is getting higher then it will be fine.

When you assemble your Trex450 do you need those tools to install a.)main gear with 1 way bearing. b.)pinion with motor ?

Some changes to your 4G6 especially the landing skid, still flyable with the stock motor?

Hehehe, next time if you order main blade try to order the blue one. Personally I like the blue color most, the ugly one is the black.

when can i see dadoo hover?????
*
Why do you want to see me hover? heheheheh, if 4G6, you may follow what Qiw said.
For BCP V2, I don't have any yet ..... The last two days I was playing my BCP only and definitely love it with better stability (dont compare trex lah), and did FF, SF and RF ... akakkakakakakak

SF = Side Flight. Left-Right, Right-Left
RF = Reverse Flight. For beginner where they fly the heli back with tail-in ..... tongue.gif

Still can lift off.... but not as light as previous....
Don't you think that the ori landing skid is kind of too narrow? The heli will be easily tilted...

Any blade color will do... as long as it flies well...
*
Maybe I am already get used to it, hehhehehe so far still OK ..... just take more care when landing ....
Color is a personal preference, I like to see my heli with my favorite color other than flying well ..... blush.gif

Yeap, one thing to let you know. Take some time check the hole of the tail blade, as time goes by the hole gets bigger because of the friction with the screw. I heard a lot of issues with the tail blade shooting out during flight.

Possible, now when my 4G6 is landed and in a static state, you can hear the servo is turning when I just touch the blade grip lightly. Buzz ..... buzz .....

Maybe a tail servo fault too ......... but it is true that the electronic parts are LOUSY!!!!
For example the stock motor and ESC, you certainly wont be able to touch it for 5 sec after a 5min hover. Heat is a killer to magnet as well.

BCP with my 2250maH for 8min flight wont be that hot and I still can touch it with my finger until it cools down.

If you ask me again whether I want to buy 4G6 or not, I think I will tell you I won't tongue.gif

Because in the long run, this little bird will suck more $$$ out of your pocket and it prone to vibrations & electronic breakdown easily. So far I have changed 1 cyclic servo and about to change the tail servo.

Hehehehe, if you want to fly indoor why not consider cb100? more relax and I think you don't need 3D at home tongue.gif
Am I right ar?

But I still hope that my Tx is built with better quality because I've ordered a 2801Rx and it is on the way now drool.gif
