You sure you want to cut off the power intentionally? Although some of the ESC will do that by default setting but I don't want that if one day I forget to time the flight, my heli suddenly lose power and fall down .........

Hehehehe, I was shock when I saw him hovering so well and I am impressed. Guess that I will lag behind far far away .....
Nowadays I am back to SIM again and at the same time, fine tuning the heli to fly better. Slapshock, you definitely can use household items to do your blade balancing. I am one of them that doing this way. I will use a needle (longer one prefer), sellotape, 2 identical cups. Basically I just stick the blades head-to-head together using sellotape but make sure the hole is aligned. Then punch your needle through the hole (as close as possible to the top edge of the hole), then hang both sides of the needle to the edge of the cups, do your balancing from there ....... Added on May 31, 2010, 1:11 pm QUOTE(sLapshock @ May 31 2010, 12:07 PM) unbalanced blade is one of the bad evil to cause vibration ....... and slightly or more battery consumption I think ....This post has been edited by daddoo: May 31 2010, 01:16 PM |

Hehehehe, that time really totally new into the hobby mah so dare not invest so much for the first time.
Now I think it's a good time for me to start with trex, since I have knew most of the basic stuff of a heli. But need to deplete my spare parts first or else I will just leave my BCP aside ..... huahahahahhahaah |

Was that the 325 wooden rotor blade from Align? I was using it on my BCP also ...... tell me how do you find about that blade later.
Hehehehehe, I think I wont go for clone, I will go for trex and this is what I have planned actually. I want my BCP to be my laboratory rat |

Tail wagging usually cause by too much gain ....
The one you've shown should not cause wagging, I THINK! It may cause more vibration to your tail, to check that normally I will touch the tail boom by spinning the heli, with tail blade attach and then remove. But I have done this on my 4G6 only, for 450 size please do with extra precaution if you want ...... I bare no responsibility |

Emmmmm, maybe you can try to grease your tail parts, I mean the belt gear bearing if it is a belt driven heli, shaft etc ........
Last week I found that my tail work nicer after I doing so ....... perhaps the friction without oil slow down spinning ..... This post has been edited by daddoo: Jun 1 2010, 09:25 AM |

QUOTE(QiW @ Jun 1 2010, 09:29 AM) ini macam FOUL !!!! yalah, nobody ask you to grease kow kow ....... another thing of grease kow kow is that it will spit a lot of oil in the heli when it is spinning. tarak pakai baju and landing on bumbung kete !! huahahahahahaaaa but i oso like this heli ... too bad it comes with 2 BRUSHED motors .. limited lifespan lorr Added on June 1, 2010, 9:31 am have to apply only very very very very little grease if required and only apply to specific areas .... why ??? if u put grease ... it will attract lots of dust to stick initially when no dust all seems nicer .. after lots of flying the dust stick and thickens .. causing binding and travel problems unless u always wanna open the tail up and clean and re-grease la .. hahahahahaa |

QUOTE(QiW @ Jun 1 2010, 04:44 PM) just put the camera on a tripod or stand la .. then just hover in front of the camera ... put camera to wide angle I need a lot of things u need more practice on the SIM la .. hahahahaa 3S batteries, charger, 2801 receiver etc .... and eventually a better heli .... going to pk very soon .... I have a olympxx camera but the quality too lousy, without using much now it refused to work. So usually I will just take video using my hp. Hahahaha, I can explain to you ........
There are 2 type of connections, series and parallel. If a cell with 3.7v and 600maH, connect both in series will give you 7.4v@600maH, this is your 2S battery actually. Connect both in parallel will give you 3.7v@1200maH. Anyway, thanks for your information, Qiw. |
