Aiya, mr.slapshock I found some reviews stated that the balancing of imax is not really accurate, could be a difference of 0.08v.
Esky charger is good in this balancing although it is slow ......

Whooowwwww, I think I have found the culprit of the drift. Once I removed the training kit now the tail works better rclxms.gif
The training kit must be reflecting a lot of vibrations back to the heli as I can see the balls shaking up and down like hell .....
Hehehehhe, it helps to protect a bad landing but sometimes it also bring you other problems .....

sometimes the balancing is not due to the charger ..
it oso depends on your batt ... if u put cheap batts in u cannot it to balance perfect all the time .. variances of 0.01-0.04v is quite common and perfectly useable ...

What brand of charger r u using now? hmm.gif
Now can hover better and landing without training kit, hehehheheh 1 battery totally not enough now sweat.gif

Set the charging rate at 1.8mah (less than 1 hour charging), my fast charging i'll set at 2.1mah (about 30 mins charging)...
Oh ya.. you have to set the charger max limit to 2200mah.

The charger accuracy also depends on the quality la.. never compare BMW with MyVi, not fair la...

For esky, they are accurate because it's slow~!!!
just like if you challenge 2 cars to stop at a square 500m away...
Which will stop more accurate? The 1 travel at 20km/h or 80km/h?
*
Based on all the opinions I think the charging is depending on a lot of factors ......
Hehehehhe, what brand are you using then?
I want to survey a bit .... wink.gif

How is your 4G6 now? I think I have been pushing mine too hard, every now and then the battery and ESC damn hot after 5 mins hovering. No need to say, the brushless motor is the hottest one ....... should be toasting the magnet inside .... the ESC wire a bit warm also ..... rclxub.gif

I think you asked the same question i asked qiw last time.

In HH mode this is normal as the servo horn will not go back to the center although you have a center stick.

If you can switch the gyro to rate mode, then you will see the servo horn back to center every time you center the stick.

It is like that one lah tongue.gif

There are many methods to check swash level and you can find videos from google.

Another useful method is to hover your heli loh tongue.gif
If you find that under no wind condition your heli still leaning to one side all the time, then it is probably your swash not level.

But if your swash level is really out ah, as qiw said it is really not good to lift your heli ....

hohoho, that method not so useful to me ...... maybe those plastic parts on the swashplate not so precise .... so hard to level the swash ....

Now I just check with eye sight and hovering ..... adjust until i feel that it is good and I will assume that it is leveled tongue.gif

dont forget to pull out the motor ...
LEVEL the flybar ...
align the gauge with flybar ...
reading should be ZERO ... depending on how u set your curves (mine mid stick in all modes oso ZERO)

yes u are correct so far ...
then check for max +ve pitch and max -ve pitch ... they should be equal
then push collective up max and rotate the cyclic gila gila and listen and see if any bindings
do the same for max down stick ..

its clearly written there TREX250 laa ... hahahaha
twitchy little bugger oso ...
*
But if you look at the length of the whole heli, almost occupied the left to right space in the car ... initially i thought that it is 250 heli also ......
what car is that?

Honestly, be patient ..... you don't want to crash and spend $$$, right?

What's the point of rushing to maiden and skip some setup but then in the end you still need to setup again after a crash? smile.gif

Play your Lama first loh .... kekekkekeke

I did not train on sim anymore after I am okay with tail in hovering ... then turn into the real heli tail in until now.

Along the way, I spent a lot of time on setting up the heli and some trial-and-error method to fix some issues, or trying to improve some weak point in the heli. Not just flying heli only loh tongue.gif

Now I think I am ready to sim again with side-in and nose-in ....... then my real heli side in and nose in again ......

Futaba not sure, but it happens to my Walkera Tx.

I found that if something is not right with the heli, sometimes the sound also a bit different one .... For example last night dun know what the heck with my 4G6 I just feel that the tail was vibrating too much ..... and the sound also not sharp like previous

Then today only I found that it is actually the tail blade (quite small and light) not balance doh.gif , different weight. After balancing now not much vibration and the sound ...... like a new 4G6 maiden flight tongue.gif
