as for psgt.. i luv it man ... the more i play with it .. the nicer it feels... what i can say is that it's less stiffer than the pdrgt but yah prob lesser in terms of power .. but that one u can tune it by lowering the tension ... this fren of mine having it at 54/52 feels v good n powerful (belongs to a gurl).. can hit with power also .. so i think u can't be weaker than a gurl right ? keke.... and the frame it quite solid, so will giv you the illusion that you are hitting a solid shot...

what i find pdrgt is esp coupled with blackcode.. gives u tremendous spin potential.. i think bro ck can confirm that .. whenever i use the pdrgt... sure the shot more deep and more kick and feels heavier... problem is a bit too powerful for me.. so if hit more flatter-forward... goes out more... so must always spin it lots to generate that kick...

both are solid racqs i wud say .. different style of playing.. pdrgt = power but a bit not stable tend to twist.. ... psgt = control and solid feel...

Yeah, Pure Drives are good racquet. No doubt. The attraction is its power and spin. I'm very much attracted too. Feels like you can blow ur opponent off court using it. ;p
For me, I prefer the Pure Drive non Roddick.
Reason very simple. I dun like Roddick and dun find it justified to pay the extra for his signature.

Spin better than BC?

i sold it rm400 with a new pro supex + dunlop comfort max hybrid ... so quite cheap lah .... considering u save rm150 fr new price rm510+rm40 (good strings)...

Added on February 23, 2010, 10:22 ami'm using the pro hurricane pro hybrid now (with xcel comfort) on my psgt.... long time never try a full pro hurricane tour (last racq to use that is apdc). in terms of spin .. i dun think it spins more than BC... but it is more durable and more lasting than BC .. that's for sure... holds tension better as well since BC tends to lose tension quite fast.... PHTour also is stiffer .. so by setting up with a softer synthetic... more playable....

my next stringing gonna lower then tension further to see i can generate more spin & power fr there... will try out 48lbs/52lbs....

Babolat pro hurricane ..... I didn't like the string personally, I tried the Tour version too it was slightly better, but not by much. If you have the chance to try Babolat strings try Babolat Xcel power 16 or 17 with a Signum hyperion. If hybriding I prefer Signum's Hyperion if full bed, I can go either way with Tornado or Hyperion.

Spinwise I think Blackcode will have a slight edge, but for sure it will be more softer than Pro Hurricane and Tour version, but feel free to try :-p

can't wait to get the new BAbolat RPM Blast (black)... coming in APRIL...

btw hav u tried the MSV HEPTA TWIST ? tempted to try it out but i still got so many strings ...
