QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Feb 11 2010, 12:14 PM) Well, if you want to exclude acer... closest would be Lenovo G460-Core i3-330M 5903-6369 RM2249 I3-330M 2.13GHZ / DDR3 2GB / 320GB / DVDRW / Nvidia 310M 512MB / 14.1"WXGA / CAM / WIFI / DOS but yeah, that CQ41 is a quite a good buy, though if you want to install XP, I don't really recommend compaq CQ series, since hard to find driver... thank you very much for your frequent reply! I will use windows 7 so maybe CQ41 is my choice...

I need recommendations. My budget around 2.5k.I'm not a gamer but at least the graphic card should not be intel. And I hope it will not easily heat up.

I've compared among the list, came to know that tat 4740G has the best spec. Hows the performance for the intel i5 processor?

Well, so far still no complaint from 4740G... i5 should be around P8xxx series.. QUOTE(Mr.LKM @ Feb 11 2010, 09:24 PM) For your information, Asus is out of stock at lowyat. The 64bit question is also subjective. If you want use of 4GB of RAM or more, then it is definitely the way to go. Otherwise, the 32bit version will suit you fine.

What actually your laptop usage?? Issit for gaming, multimedia, work?? Better to give us a bit info about this because laptops under the range of RM3k is a lot and some are even better than Toshiba T130 About 64-bit Win 7, just like Loki said, if in the future you want to use 4GB or more (which by any means check your laptop can support more than 4GB RAM) then it would be a nice choice...if not, 32-bit will be just fine

Seems that its a ULV Notebook? If u want such battery life with performance below 3k you have the: Acer Timeline 4810TG( SU9400 1.4GHz + ATi Mobility Radeon HD4330) Asus UL80Vt(14")/UL30Vt(13" no DVD Drive)/UL50Vt(15.6", numpad) (SU7300 1.3GHz + Nvidia GeForce G210M 512MB DDR3 with Switchable Graphics Intel GMA 4500MHD)

Hi, I'm looking for 2 laptops for my office:
1. Brand : Asus, Toshiba or Dell 2. Price : Laptop 1 + Laptop 2 = RM6500 or less 3. Specs:
Laptop 1 Processor i5 4GB of RAM or more A decent graphics card (ATi or Nvidia) 14" or 15" Screen To be used for Engineering Applications, but needs to be a bit on the high end for future use.
Laptop 2 Processor i3 or Core 2 Duo 4GB RAM (Less is ok, but not less than 2GB) A decent graphics card (Ati or Nvidia) 14" Screen To be used as back up for laptop 1, but with lower end specs.
If possible, I'll need the model and specs ASAP, since my office needs it urgently.
Thank you
