CPU and GPU wise, BenQ S42 still better

or can consider Lenovo Y460, i5 430M + ATi HD5650@RM3599...

Y460 should be able to reach around 3 hours or more in Intel GMA mode...
A42Jr should be less than that...

Not really, GPU and HDD can contribute as well, and also depends on the notebook cooling system design as well.

Which one to go, will depends on your need, CULV is enough for basic needs.

What's the budget? screen size? usage?

Power don't come with long battery life,
though your best bet would be either Lenovo Y460, i5 430M + ATi HD5650@RM3599 (might be hot) or if can strech budget, Asus N82Jv, i5 520M + Nvidia GT 335M@RM3999, both come with switcable GPU, so you can run in GMA mode if want battery life and vice versa. Though I doubt it would reach 6 hours, 3-4 hours might be feasible, depends usage.
Or can wait the release for Acer TimelineX series, should be around April, price and spec unknown...

You mean unlimited budget (more than RM 1.8K)?

Nope, closest is Inspiron 14 with HD4330 which is still weaker with other alternative, for your budget, best bet is Lenovo G455, AMD M320 + ATi HD4550@RM1749, though I still wouldn't say this as gaming notebook, the budget is simply too low...

Pretty much all CULV should be remain cool, that's their purpose, now the issue is what's the budget?

Can consider Lenovo Thinkpad SL400...

For that budget, you can consider Dell Vostro 3700, 17.3'', i5 430M + Nvidia GT 330M@RM2849, currently the best GPU available under RM3k.
or Asus A42Jr, 14'', i5 520M + ATi HD5470@RM2999.
or if performance comes first, BenQ S42, P8700 + Nvidia 9600M GT@RM2699

i7 is not available under 3K...

Well, about the screen size, its much better if you could go to store and look at it by yourself since it is a very subjective matter, just need to find similar size notebook to compare...

As for under RM2500,
11.6'', can consider Acer 1810TZ@RM1899
12'', can consider MSI Wind U200@RM1799
13.3'', can consider Dell Vostro V13@RM2399, If you go with this model, I strongly suggest go with the 4GB model since this model only got 1 ram slot and 4GB a piece still expensive nowadays...
14'', can consider Dell Inspiron 14z@RM2349

Well, different people different needs/taste...

The downside of V13 is its battery life, only 2-3 hours...
Asus UL30Vt, RM2899, SU7300 overclocked to 1.73GHz, Nvidia G210M/GMA 4500M HD,battery life around 6 hours...
HP DM3, Nvidia G105M@RM3199
Acer 3810T, SU9400@RM2899
Thinkpad Edge 13@RM2880
Toshiba T130@R3099

The rest spec is similar with V13...

Well, it has better CPU but its on pre-order, so you might need to wait around 3-4 weeks while those two available on shops
If you can wait, then consider Vostro 3400/3500.

More than enough, the ati graphic card would generate extra heat and lower the battery life though...

HD5470 is enough if you are not demanding...

Did you tried to pm hikari85? I remember she sold Y460 already...

3-4 hours still feasible, you just need to switch to intel gpu if want to reach that battery life, and also if web browsing contain a lot of flash like youtube, it might also lower the battery life...

Acer Ferrrari? Should be around 2 hours

Any exact model? Can't find its spec...
Though for netbook, just pick the one you like, design/price/battery life wise since the performance for them is practically the same...

Well, for me, its kinda pointless getting an ultraportable but fail in the battery life....
