@shimon, try booting without your memory card. if it can be booted normally, that is not brick. it's just corrupted memory card problem.

either backup & format, or buy new ones. and try to stay off sony fakes. photofast is better imo.

if it fails again and again, try scandisk your card 1st. u got nothing to lose.

and don't buy fake ms please. tho u can get them cheaper. they tend to breakdown easily after 3 to 6 months. mine died after a full 1 year. my fren's all 3 died after 3 months.

u better off use photofast with genuine sandisk microsdhc.

@OFFSPRING, u need to enable cfw in ur psp. chickhen just enable u to run some simple homebrews. but to enable a full homebrew support u need custom firmware.

Even though i set the USB connecting to Auto it wont auto connect when i connect my usb port before i switch on my PSP. But if my psp is on it auto connects.

look for "USB Device"
press left/right to change it to "Memory Stick".
exit and reconnect ur usb.

prometheus V6 is actually not a cfw. it's a module and it's still beta. and it's prohibited to further discuss about modules here.

your cfw is good enough. some users like that cfw coz they claim about stability issue and speedup memory stick function. i myself use 5.50GEN-D3 coz good support in homebrews and custom themes.

lucky you. some of my customers got burnt mobo coz of blown charger. not a charger from me of course. i only sell genuine charger. dunno why the fuse in mobo didn't kick in when the power was overdosed.

nope. plugins such as cwcheat, cxmb, and the latest ultimate vshmenu final does works flawlessly in 5.50GEN-D3.
