@skeleton202 / momoyuen, can u take a photo.
i suspect it's just US plug problem. u need to buy rounded adapter for your plug. i think RM0.99 only at supermarkets. just post a photo of your plug 1st. |

well if that is the case i don't think u can fix it by urself by running the video but worth trying.
here's the video file for stuck pixel fixer. http://www.psp-hacks.com/2005/06/10/psp-stuck-pixel-fix/ |

@desmond_fm, i'm glad my upload did something for the community. actually turbo7 is the real chickhen mod-2 and arranged for the fastest hack.
here's my suggestion. get pspident. it can detect if u got a fully hackable mobo or partial hack mobo. http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1725 if u can't go there (as u mentioned down always) try pspslimhacks.com or qj.net @v1900130, actually it's not HLB. it's Half Byte Loader (HBL). supposed to run emulators and some homebrew games only thru patapon2 savedata exploit. the HBL devs (wololo and the gang) does not support piracy. |

@locomoroco, this happened to mine also. the problem is the umd cotroller IC on the mobo got 1 kaki patah.
1. the easiest and cheaper method is inserting a umd in umd drive. any umd should do and a used one also can. mine is fixed this way. harder method is send to technician, so u have another 2 option 2. taking off all cables for umd utilities. cheap but ur psp cannot read from umds anymore. 3. reballing umd IC. i think this is the most expensive method, but u will have it fixed and u can still use umd. |

@alonline, no. battery eeprom writing has been disabled since psp 2000 ta085v2. u r left with buying a pandora, hardmod (not recommended), or search for someone that can unbrick 4u.
the only model that can convert battery to pandora is psp 1000 all mobo, and psp 2000 ta085v1 mobo. |

good news today for psp 3000 & 2000 (TA088v3) owners that stuck in 6.20 firmware.
6.20 TN (HEN) is in progress. made by Total_Noob. do not update to 6.30 or 6.31 if u want full homebrew support on your psp. |

QUOTE(cipollll @ Oct 21 2010, 08:38 PM) I have PSP 3001. maybe charging IC need to be replaced. that green light supposed to be orange when charging. have u used a cheapo charger before?I have problem charging it. I can't charge my PSP and the green light when charging does not light up. Tried my friend's charger that is 100% working with his PSP but not mine. I guess there something wrong with the "hole" that connect the charger. the "hole" is just 2 pieces of contact metal and plastic. seldom broken. |

@Ganzxel, test the new battery with other PSP first before we assume it's faulty.

IC means integrated circuits. it's a chip embedded on the motherboard. u can't do that by yourself. either send to shop or get it to some technician to replace it.
most shop will charge u rm180 for that. |

maybe flashing new HEN can cause full flush in the RAM so u can rewrite the cfw. i bet if u re-run the CFW Enabler 3.30 (5.03M33-6) , it still displayed 5.03GEN-C.
go ahead n try it. be reminded if u want to install new hen cfw, u must uninstall first the older. or if u dunno how to do that, just pull the battery overnight and you will get fresh empty ram tomorrow morning. now u can flash newer cfw. |

well, some says it can cause clogged memory but yet i found no harm other than "old cfw remains inside" thingy. better safe than sorry tho. ;-)
old files can be deleted since turbo files are in ms0:\photo\ if ur not so sure, just backup everything first, as always. |
