anyone can help me to update my PSP 1002 ??System software now is 3.40 OE-A how to upgrade??

FYI..

MHU & ChickHen is the enabler for Gen-C to run..

Gen-C need to be used in any MHU/ChickHen FW..

if u dunt want MHU.. then use chickHEn instead..

btw..i'm using MHU with no prob at all..and 5.03 gen-c stated in my system information..

im going to get a new pro duo for my psp.

Question: Will 16/32gb accepted by my psp???

update to 3.71M33 then 5.00M33 then 5.50 GEN D3

network update is for official firmware only...
even if you use it, it will not work because you are on 3.40 OEA

Hello guys, wanna ask...mine is psp 3000 and frmware 5.03GEN C..
Here is the problem, i want to install games to my psp but i cant play it...whenever i click start/o at the thumbnail of the game, the device restart itself and turned back into its original fw...i hack it back as usual but still cant play the game..(GOW:CoO).Hopefullly u guys can tell what is goin' on..thnx

hi guys ... psp newbie here .. just bought my psp 3006 carnival red last sunday .. my question is

1) the shop salesman say dont press the wlan button coz it will update ur psp ... is it true ?

2) how to fully off my psp ? every time i flip the on/off button to off it it just went to standby/sleep mode

3) in future when newer cfw is out i just need to change the gen c/d rite ? and still keeping the old chickhen to be used?

1)nope. it's true if you only go search for updates.
2)it's a feature of the firmware (if it's running the latest cfw)
3) just change the load the new cfw (may require to uninstall the old 1 before doing so)

wat lacus tell u it's true..i agree just want to add..

2) ur are using 3006..dunt ever fully off ur psp..bcoz once off u need to install back CFW.. if u know how to do it then ok..if not..u send to shop charge 20-30 just to reinstall..and it's a simple steps btw..

3) 5.03 gen-C is the latest.. even now gen-D is already out..that are not for psp3006.. please check before updating to any CFW..bcoz many cases, people try to install gen-D in their psp3006 and become permanent bricked..

yea i dont mind fully off my psp coz the seller already teach me how to reinstall cfw and already did it like 3 times without any problem v

it's freaking troublesome,it's not a matter of reinstall the cfw, it's the chickhen =/

How to play newer games that isn't compatible with my current CFW (5.03 gen-C).I heard there are some programes that can help me.Is that true??

If i update to the lastest OFW,would i risk bricking my psp??
