AXN will be in HD in Southeast Asia starting May. I'm pretty sure Astro will get AXN HD on board. Since AXN is in the family package, everyone will get to enjoy AXN in HD.

Don't be so sure. Discovery Asia has had HD, but astro only pick NatGeo HD & History HD. Why? unsure.gif

so the prob is now fixed. Should I subscribe to byond now or buy a 42" Full HD TV first?
*

Buy TV first. It's useless byond without HDTV

Maybe they think better test market in small area first, if problem happen can solve easily biggrin.gif
It might be different if they win in bidding EPL right last time that eventually won by Astro ESS, because they will have channels that people want, just like MioTV did in SG.

33. Why are you not rolling out the service in other areas outside of the Klang Valley?
TM's initial focus for HSBB deployment will be on those areas identified to contribute significantly to national GDP.

Not real Klang Valley though, just small portion of Klang Valley tongue.gif

anyone can help me..
Its gonna rain but hasnt yet but my byond has lost the signal already!!!
Even before this if light rain alreadY lost signal
I am using new dish but cable is from the year 2000..
Anyone think can help?
*

It's not necessary to rain at your area for signal to be affected, it's line of sight. If at any place between your dish to satellite has a heavy rain (of course still below the clouds biggrin.gif ), your signal will be affected too.

Now, if IPTV bids for and wins EPL contract, only those in "high GDP contribution" areas can watch and the rest of us can go on Soccernet GameCast. Is this the "competition" everyone was asking for?
*

They lost already until 2013. They have 3 years to expand coverage or else bruce.gif

F1 makes a phenomenal amount of money from TV rights, money is not a problem. It's whether they wanna do it or not only.

It seems that ESPN HD channel is nothing but all the time looking at the "Next" match screen only.
I hope Astro can keep on screening whatever you have in ESPN HD all the time. Not just the "Next" match screen all the time. Sometimes, have to wait for more than 3 hours then only some other "repeat" match is showing.
Besides the "LIVE" matches in ESPN HD, Astro might as well screen all the repeat Premier League, Champions League match as well as the F1 again and again instead of just same old boring "Next" match screen all the time.
If next month we are starting to pay the additional RM20 for the HD channel, then, we should have something to watch all the time, not just the same old boring waiting for "Next" match.
Like SuperSports HD, all the time have something to watch like Ice Hockey, NCAA Basketball, Nascar even though some of these sports is not my interest.
Everyone agree here?
If yes, then maybe we have to start another complain again to Astro.

Yes, +1 thumbup.gif

The IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) service, which makes up part of the value-add bundled service, will be delivered via an 8Mbps connection exclusively and in addition to the data speeds subscribed by customers

As expected, they use dedicated 8Mbps for IPTV only. So streamyx user no chance so far blush.gif
