It seems to be a small issue, where by Nokia might wants the user to go online search for the first time on the Nokia Maps before subsequent searches are performed offline mode. This may due to device authentication data sent online to Nokia for log purpose. Once the first time online search ends, close Nokia OVI Maps and do an offline search. It works !

not to be confused as those 3 has its own tasks .. they're related, but not the same application

im new here..just found something while google-ing, should i follow tis guide or sign using freesigner?

the new OVI maps 3.03 wont accept the old CITIES folder, i think they have restructured the entire CITIES folder

It you have difficulties, just delete all the voices (leave empty the VOICES folder) and download using WiFi at the SETTINGS menu inside OVI maps .. the application will re structure ure CITIES\VOICES folder .. after install u can see wer u have done wrong

.. 8.1MB to be exact, i managed to pull out the while installing and make an OFFLINE version

p/s:tis is my 2nd time using s60 phone since nokia 6600..

theres no new version, only 1 version available which expired in December 2009, get it from the front page .. back date ure fone to 01 january 2009 before install

when i clicked on the weather icon in ovi map, it showed "something went wrong and the connection failed.Please try again later" why i cant connect?i am inside my house n got wifi .

to get the lastest ovi free maps, there are a few ways but i only know by using SW update on ur phone.

ok..i've installed the maps..but when i try to search address and chose drive to...it appear 'route not found'...what is the problems?

just now i tried to upload a song in my pc via mass stroage mode, then i created a folder named Songs at the device drive, after that i refresh the music library but it keep showing 0 files added. i nv upload any songs b4 this

My AP set already cost me RM 1060 last time

previously all original phones have the hard rubber case, its really good, even light drops to floor conside ure fone is saved
