do u know that process u can kill without any harm ?

Under protected
- Nokia Chat Event Monitor, this process can be killed .. it executes whenever u make a call 
- BT Manager Server .. bluetooth file management

i guess they have to conme with another FW update to solve this thing...

yes, there's a way of going back to the previous FW, if u've been following, u can oso see it in fp
if u dun like ovi maps, u can oways stick with garmin...ovi maps is free after all, unlike garmin...no nid the cursing

all processes under removable tab in killme can be killed.
Don't kill: Menu, MenuKeyserver (for handy taskman to work), Mykeylock (if u use it), contacts bar (if u use it). Move all these into "protected".

Handy taskman doesn't shows processes, it shows tasks (programmes) only, it's easier to use. But killme can kill processes like TSRautorun.exe.

i would like to sacrifice my battery life rather than lagging and slow locking of v31 gps. and v31 doesnt have new homescreen and KS, and v40 is much much smoother.

are u sure gps locking is slow in v31? i think there's no different in locking speed either v40 or v31

After update new FW, u may reinstalled Garmin, follow back the FP on hw to overcome battery issue, u cant get back 100%, since GPS uses satellite signal and satellite signals are very very strong, no matter wat u do, u still will not overcome this issue, eg. while we were moving, cloudy weather, in car, someother interference which we wont realise really makes the satellite and out device to pull the signal as strong as it can, this is the cause of battery drain.

myself usually,

- Use Kill me, after my fone turned on, observe the clock will blink once, then if u get in to KILL ME there will be alots of process, i shutdown everything 
- Use Kill Me everytime i finish sending out my SMS, Calls and after use of GPS 
- I'm on 3G (only wen someone SMS on video calls) otherwise i'll be on GSM 
- I could get my batt lasts for 2 days .. since moderate call, moderate sms and seldom wifi, since i have computer with me 

dunno, maybe bcuz before i update to v40 i seldom use full I-GPS... now i use I-GPS with ovi maps is fast. XD

guys is your build in IM working after update to V40? mine seems not working. after pressing the IM nothing come out.it just refreshes the menu.
