I wonder if nokia are working on fixing the bugs for the v40 firmware. The light staying on is just irritating!

well u can temp solve the charging bug by using manual lock instead of auto lock, but i heard from sum1 here that charging d hp while in switch OFF mode will do d trick too... but i do agree that this bug is troublesome cuz i can't charge my hp overnight nowadays.

i dont find it troublesome worr. jus slide to unlock...slide again to lock it den gao dim lo...
obviously if there's a solution to fix d bug then its gonna be a cool FW to use after all.

Hi guys, Im currently having some problem with file corruption on this device. Sometimes its a music track, playlist, pictures or videos. Currently using the bundled nokia 8gb class 6 card. Randomly corrupts files every week!! Have tried hard reset the phone, formated the card with SD-Formater tool and still no success. Bought the phone in October 2009.

Does changing it to a slower class 4 would work? Or my memcard is starting to kaputt already?

Since last hard reset, running all standard apps only, still corrupt.

Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

why when i c system info in jbtaskman it show proc speed at 192mhz?isn't 432Mhz?

there will be no way for nokia to satisfy every1... i guess there done a very good job so far on updating the firmware...

i just updated to v40 yesterday... and very pleased with the ks on every listing like contact, songs, sms, notes, calendar event, + everyehere except for menu... hopefully they will includes ks in the menu in the next update too....

for the hs screen lock bugs... i don mind lioa coz i used to manually slide and lock the when i don't use the fone...

oh.. btw.. anyway we can disable the slide to answer call... donno which stupid fella at nokia gave this idea...
the slide to answer only work flawlesly if our is on capacitive touch....

That was on N97 also now they also implement it into 5800X<

the slide to answer is bad one to me coz to me answer call should be as simple as a tap on the screen...

nvm i figure it out...

jbtaskman cant detct the speed till 433..instead use the other one on FP to test . That one needs you to upload your result into the server to calculate .That one will show your hp 433mhz. No worries,i encounter the same problem .

By the way -anyone encountering the Garmin XT keep on resetting on the Garmin crash ?I'm using 5.00.60 TW for you guys info.

slide to answer calls when your phone is lock is a good feature actually.
What if your phone is in your pocket and you may accidentally tap the screen to receive the calls?

The feature is not there when your phone is unlock.

maybe trying to copy iphone but like fail only.

Ya. Meee too. I did not know when I updated the FW. I normally, just turn off the charger after fully charged. The first few days, the battery went flat so fast after using. I wonder, until I saw the light is staying on in the morning.

So now, manual slide...sigh

u need to del this, if u afraid of losing anything just backup tht file elsewhere

Go to Memory Card/Garmin/Apps and delete gmsup.ini.
