sure... thanks for the "sacrifice" u make  tongue.gif

some maemo web site mention about the missing of SOC (state of charge) circuitry on the batt pack...  hmm.gif

the sun global team seem origin from malaysia and they having multiple promotion these few years, but what I really interested is the actual capasity of the battery and of coz safety too... if only got warranty is still not good enuf lah.. nanti terbakar the whole house (not to mention lost life) they bayar u with a replacement battery only what use then   whistling.gif

yeah...considering the lithium ion battt is kinda dangerous altho they are among the most effective batts u can find in the market. these type of batt able to burst into flames occasionally....i repeat occasionally(out of a milion, 1-2 might be faulty..we will never know). and also pls beware that they are very sensitive the high temperatures as they degrade themselves much faster.

comparing standard batt on tube 1320 and sun's 1800 which has the 400++different is kinda compromising tho...
maybe sun's has the technology to produce high numbers of lithium ions on its very own electrode indirectly more energy can be stored.
seems there's no any negative feedback bout the sun's product, i'll give it a try fellas.

1 year warranty on batt.... if seriously malang tidak berbau( tahap super dewa ), we dapat the faulty set, the whole hse got burn, den i dun think that 1 year warranty 1-1 exchange for the batt is worth it lo
haha

but in my opinion, i think worth a try folks...

LOL.

No la. If that easy meletup do you think sun global dare to offer 1 year warranty for their battery? fonemax product of hong kong also only offer half year warranty for that only. I think they have been tested and prove that their quality is ensure before they dare to offer 1 year warranty.

itu warranty for rosak lah... meletup lain cerita because it's consider a outlier case... brows.gif
something can be very durable but when we face a outlier some extream situation also can happen... doh.gif
but i really curious on how they able to squeeze in those extra charge into the same space (if they not removing any of those protection circuitry to gain more space) hmm.gif

yup.. that's the good point... because we dealing with dangerous material here... hmm.gif

but some good news for future battery:

QUOTE
In November 2009, engineers at the University of Dayton Research Institute developed the world's first solid-state, rechargeable lithium air battery which was designed to address the fire and explosion risk of other lithium rechargeable batteries and make way for development of large-size lithium rechargeables for a number of industry applications, including hybrid and electric cars.[72]
