Hi thunder_kaminari,

Do your store know that Sandy Bridge motherboard has been identified having chipset circuit design issue?

This is the link http://www.intel.com/consumer/products/processors/chipset.htm?iid=en_US_01_chipset+gg_headline

After you have read the announcement, I'm sure that your store will provide replacement for the affected model but I'm curious in what way - A quick 1-to-1 replacement? or Customer has to send their affected motherboard back for RMA? I have bought one of the affected model and I wish to get a quick exchange when the new chipset is ready for replacement.

Thanks for replying.

Hi,

Yes of course we are aware of the issue. Right now we're still pending from relevant departments and suppliers on how to proceed.

As far as I know Acer has just issued an official response which you can check out HERE, may I know which brand/model did you buy?

Intel DH67BL motherboard with receipt, which is bought at your store in Plaza Lowyat couple weeks ago before I go back to university.

TBH, I'm a student from Kampar, Perak. It's waste of time to travel whole day back to KL for replacement. This is not a big issue, the thing is I can't live without my desktop computer, because that's the only tool for me to do my final year project in final semester. Hope you can understand for what reason I want a quick 1-to-1 replacement. Not to trouble your store, I'm here to let you know now so that earlier preparation could be done by your store.
