I bought a wireless Microsoft Keyboard and mouse 3000 model on April 2009 PC fair... Both of it have problem now, I saw a Thunder Match shop in Prangin Mall, Penang.
Just want to know if I can claim warranty there as I am leaving in Penang. Thank You.

I have a question to ask.
I bought the Microsoft Laser Desktop in PC fair April last year, and now I have problem with both keyboard and mouse.
I was told that it covers 3 years warranty, if any problem can get back to thunder match. I asked before whether can do RMA in Penang with TS and it is a yes. I called up Penang branch and I was told that warranty only covers for 1 year. The other 2 years is from Microsoft. So I will be charge if I send to Penang branch thunder match.
Is this true?? If it's true then I should be told that Thunder Match only covers 1 year warranty right?? But instead was told that it covers 3 years warranty....

I ask this question "If any problem, how long is the warranty?" During the PC fair, the answer I got "it is 3 years, and if any problem you can come to us in lowyat plaza". And I was not told that they only have 1 year support.
And yes, there is a few retailers that do full RMA for free after 1 years. But sells a bit more expensive. But with the additional RM 10 to Rm 20. I am willing to pay for it rather than now need to pay for RM 30 per service.
By the way, do you know any Microsoft distributor in Penang??
