UPDATE : okay, after troubleshooting, they change to the new mobo even after 7 days of purchase.. thumbup.gif
so far i got a good service from thunder match johor.. keep it up!

I wish there's a variety of product at Thundermatch JB.

Few weeks ago I wanted to buy a complete pc hardwares at Thundermatch, but the choice is very limited. For example, AMD motherboard only got 3 or 4 choices. Same goes to CPU, GPU.

It's not just about choices, but the stock too is limited. I'm not sure how frequent they do restock, but I went to all 3 Thundermatch shops in JB and all of them got something that I want, but don't have the others. So I can't complete my purchase in one shop. So I choose to just buy what they got at Thundermatch Bukit Indah JB.

And what make it worse is when the motherboard that I got is faulty. I suppose to get 1 on 1 exchange on the next day but because lack of stock, I need to wait more than a week. They said at that time there was a delay in restock. I hope it's just a temporary problem.

It's the 2nd time I got faulty mobo from Thundermatch, I hope it's just a coincidence; I bought the same brand, same model (because got no choice >_>) http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1435980, but different problem.. Oh yeah, it also got a thermal compound leftover near the CPU slot which I believe I got a used item. I believe this is a serious issue. But because it's faulty, I'm not making any 'drama' at the shop because I know I cant get a new one.......

I believe each branches should have their own pricelist (a list of the stocks that they take on that month).
Relying on KL pricelist for other branches is not really a good idea when the item that they restock is not the same as KL.

About that accidental spill, I dunno.. It can only happen when someone is trying to use a cpu on that mobo.. I believe nobody will go around holding thermal compound on top of new mobo just for fun.. People will only hold thermal compound near mobo when they wanted to put a cooler on top of cpu which already installed to the mobo... let's just hope it won't happen again..

What I mean by their own pricelist is each branch only stated what stock that they take for that particular month, so that the customer know the items listed in their branch pricelist is available only at that particular branch for that month.. i'm not suggesting each branch to put their own price..
I'm not sure though if it's reasonable.. It's just a suggestion because it's disappointing when we want to buy something that is available in KL pricelist, but when go to JB branch, the item is not available..


Question :
When I send a mobo for 1 on 1 exchange, the new mobo box, should I receive a full accessories or not?
That new mobo that I got last month comes with complete accessories..
But today the guy at the shop who manage my 1 on 1 exchange suddenly call asking about some accessories and want me to return it because there's another guy who bought a mobo without some accessories..

i see.. so that guy mistakenly give me a new full set? coz when i return the faulty mobo, i didn't bring any accessories..
