Long time ago 2001 P4 at RM 3499 can use up to 5 years and u buy cpu only budjet RM 1k expecting how long can use?

for example
i have 2 relatives who use same brand laptop, same specs
the 1st suffer on lcd screen broke (not because of physical damage) after 2 years, heavy gameplay, DVD chip fails.
the 2sd work just fine never had a problem. good gameplay

most laptop nowdays LCD rosak@cant on@cant boot is `popular` damage..many kind of compaq and acer model have this problem...and u can see properly why must after 1 year the laptop got problem? why not after 2 years@several years?...
