hi fellow alpharians. i have a sad news to tell here.
i finally quit sony alpha to join another camp.
the reason being that sony takes too long for an a700 replacement, there's no alpha with hd video recording capabilities & all my business partner is using the brand i've jumped to. other that that, there's no reason i guess to jump ship. yes, i'm venturing on videography too and it's essential to get a cam that is able to use lenses without any adapter.

but that doesn't mean that alpha is not a good cam. I thing they're one of the best and it's true that it should be ranked among the 3 major dslr brands of today. I would definitely recommend sony alpha to any of my friends who wish to join the photography world. I still thing that f58 is the best flash around and no other can beat its awesomeness.

anyways, i won't be leaving u guys as i think sony has the best community and every1 is there to support each other and i dare to say, better than any brands. i will join u guys for any activity but that if of course if u guys still want me. smile.gif

and btw, i'm selling of this 2 item right now:

Sony 55-200mm f4-5.6 DT AF
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1310121&hl=

Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC UWA lens
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1310116&hl=

it's sad to leave alpha and i wish goodluck to every alpharian in pursuing what you guys love best.
long live Alpha!

hope u enjoy ur stay bro =D
to be frank i like the way u process/compose ur shots..u have a very strong personal style which i think its important for a photographer..nomatter wad brand u choose..im sure u'll do well there...^^

do remember to tell us the real different(be it good or bad) after u get used to ur new toys....im sure u r one of those i can get some unbiased feedback =)
and feel free to come back often..i dont mind some poison from the other side to lure me over..LOL.. =p

that was in turkey...exif = 40mm F10 is2000..i crop some part at the bottom to make the shot looked wider...coz if shoot <40mm..there would be some no-so-nice/distracting stuff on the ground..

wow..... u guys take good photos...... mind giving some tips on mine i posted the other day? about some performance in sg. wang in page 49... i feel like it's all very normal shots... can give any advice to make it better?
*
a lil bit blurry...but doesnt really look very noisy...

i think the main problem is the composition..im not very good in shooting event/performance..but in those occasions..if the compo doesnt stand out..it'd looked like a PnS shot..

testing my A550 XD ... comments?
*
a general comment from me..i think the compo/idea of the shots still very much similar to Point n Shoot style..try to design your compo a lil bit...and altho the background is blurred..but if there r unrelated stuff at the background..remove them if u can..shallow DoF =/= good shot..u had to know how to place ur bokeh n design ur bokeh..
