yesterday hand itchy installed something then uninstalled it...1 of the default program didnt work after that..
then tried firmware reinstallation..update service sw says i already have d latest firmware but i still proceed with the firmware installation..

somethings i found different from my previous fw although version is same
- a new program call VIVAnews...but in indonesian language..
- new wallpaper n ringtones added
- previously dictionary didnt work, now can d
- and.....gps works better than before...i managed to lock signal in few attempts on different locations today...never failed to find signal...even raining just now...this is a very good news for most of us....tomorrow will try again...
previously after first few days i got the phone..never able to find signal...

btw...mine is ap set and US model...my previous fw was installed the next day it was launched..so SE missed something on the fw?

As far as i know... it should be located at positioning method. But the list only show internal GPS, Bluetooth GPS, and network based.

Besides dat, can anyone tell me wat is positioning server use for? because i just downloaded the setting and now it's using the digi internet as access point. Will it be any charges?

Try using the max 8mp rather than the smaller 16:9 shot If wanna panorma, use the stitch wan..I think wil be better..

Anyway, Does anyone know why I can't update my Vivaz???

Here is the situation :

1) I already Download the update
2) Next I turn off my phone, remove out the battery and reinsert it
3) I plug in the cable to my PC
4) I pressed and hold the Call Button (Green) then I plug in the cable to my vivaz
5) My laptop detect the phone, but it seems the Update did not.
6) It still at the stage 2 which is Connect
I try to update using PC Suite, same thing happen. At the "Preparing the phone" stage, nothing happen, it just off my Vivaz and on it back. But nothing happen.

Im trying to update the software because there is an application which I can't uninstall. I dunno why, It's a game but when I try to remove it, it says "Application cannot be removed".

stimix, ya already did that before, but still its not vibrating, only when calls came in, but for msg-ing it does not vibrate. my friend also had the same problem. that's why im curious because i used to use sony ericcson phone and normally when the vibrate is on, it will vibrate lol.

Much better if you choos the megabass. I can say almost 70% to 5800 quality after installing equaliser both the speaker as well as earphone..However the supplied earphone is of inferior quality. If you get those RM80 to RM300 earphone, the sound will be no diff from 5800 or even better than 5800 sound liao

i got my vivaz pro yesterday...    huh still not finish setting up my phone..a lot of work to do...   got 1 question here...why there is no indicator says that what profile that we are currently using? i try to switch from normal to silent...but i have no idea what mode am i in... hurm..

How is the ringtone quality? Crystal clear? Loud enough?

i dont think can use ovimap... if can also maybe quite complicated the process.. just get garmin. =) and yea.. follow the guide from the link given by hongchai8888

edit: i can start the program...but having difficultly getting through the menu, i touch the next button but nothing happens... any of you guys encountered this?
