yeah its legal...
u just have to ask ur operator provider ..eg maxis.. to private ur number...so wherever u calll..ur number will appear as "no number".."private" ..or " withheld" for maxis its charge u about RM2 per month... remember this..its only doesnt appear when u call..but if u sent a message.. its will show ur number.. so..back to ur question..how to trace...i dont know..hehe..maybe cannot..unless that person give u a sms..hehe.. |

QUOTE(ilovelyn @ Jan 18 2010, 07:12 PM) Its the same concept where people in the US are allowed to carry hand guns and in Malaysia, we cant As an end user, we cannot view the "withheld" numbers, however the telco switching servers have the record of all "withheld" numbers activity and will only allowed to pull out upon an emergency issue. Revealing a "withheld" numbers are possible in Malaysia, however none of the telcos are permitting this activity to end-users |

Yup, the number can only be traced by the telco's staff. And its definitely against the rules of the company.

one simple trick to get the number of anyone is using a Private Number is to turn off your hp. this only works if that person is calling u for a number of times.
if u have you turned on your free missed call notification via sms, you will get the person's number in that notification sms from your service provider. maxis do have this service. u can check with yours. |
