plus, to rent a car, i think you will have to provide the international licence or worst you have to provide japan licence.

And please make sure that you refill the tank before you return the rental car.....

sounds like a great idea. but I think 8K more of a reasonable budget. My friend went there and he said 8K would probably be more fun.. but with the current exchange rate, you guys think 6K enough?
