The ref had a pretty decent match apart from missing fabregas' late deliberate handball from gerrard's freekick. Can't really complain on the results, we hardly carved any decent chances in front of goal, and when gerrard handed an oppoturnity to ngog on a silver platter he completed fluffed it.

I'd say it's a fair result, both sides aren't really up to the mark but arsenal took their chances and we didn't, so can't complain there.

Maxi somewhat disappeared in the 2nd half again, and ngog was where we kept losing possession back to arsenal. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he looks more promising coming on as an impact sub, but the lack of attacking players generally summed up our season, we can hardly threaten any defence in the league when torres isn't in the team.

On the positive side, a very composed and decent performance from lucas, and skrtel looks to have regained some confidence and performed like what we saw when he first joined. Also, some bonus preview of hollywood passes from gerrard, and tottenham won nil points as well. Villa got 1 and city has 2 games in hand, so hopefully we won't be having many more hiccups till end of season.

Fans weren't at all impressed, and look at him play now. Solid player. Obviously not the best in the league, but if you compare the new Lucas to the older one, you'd know what I'm talking about.
