if buy b14 , hv to care about water/temperature . and dun let the radiator hv chance to jam...
if not... it will overheat easy..

maintance cheaper then wira etc ,
cuz mostly only chg engine oil , oil filter , gear oil..
no need to chg timing belt as the engine using timing chain

Just now I check with some foremen they told me its most likely due to the worn out of "mounting rubber". Most auto car will have 4 pieces, one at the front and rear (not sure what he meant maybe he mean engine area) and the other 2 will be at the front left and right. Its a wear and tear things, if it get too much vibration and you can't tolerate it anymore then just change. If just a lil bit then just ignore it becos its not cheap to change them. smile.gif

Well, it is a reliable car but spare parts for B14 are now getting extremely expensive, much more expensive than N16 some more... Parts like oil filter, air filter are still relatively cheap but that's about it...

I would advice against you changing to a B14 coz it's just not worth it anymore...

update:

Just back from Nissan sc. The service crew told me after they "retune" the system, strangely the "car body vibration" gone. The car mounting still good, still under warranty sub-100k mileage. smile.gif

as far as I can remember....

SG got Manual transmission option : SGL all auto.

SG is fabric seats : SGL leather

SG doesn't have steering mounted radio control : SGL has it

SG is drum brake at the rear : SGL rear discs.

SG cheaper : SGL more pricey.

Anyway, mine is the SG manual. And recently i find my FC is worse than before. Mileage currently around 65k. Have always been using mobil1 SuperS (Semi Syn) , and been changing engine oil+oil filter every 10 thousand km. Is the 10k service cycle the culprit or any other ideas what can I inspect?

I tried the valve cleaner treatment too at TCEAS before, where they connected the engine to that "Restorer" machine and didn't notice any much different anyway.

Haihya sad.gif, also the rear suspension is bad. The backend jerked outwards when going fast on a corner with uneven surface.

Must be your engine timing slightly out of tune... Good to know that you rectified the problem... thumbup.gif

Perhaps you can give MOTUL a try, the 4100 Turbolight semi-synth is pretty good...

ALL Sentra's rear suspension (except for the B13) sucks big time becoz of it being a "Multi-link Beam Suspension", which is marketing speak for "Semi-Torsion Beam Axle". B13 uses a true multi-link suspension for its rear, that's why it handles better than the B14, B15, N15 and N16.

mean its "shoe laced tie-up of both shoe together", we can't run when both our shoes are tied-up. That explain the poor handling of corners. rclxub.gif
