Guys, I just want to relate to all you Lowyatt Forummers here my experience with this supposed Me.zz
How do I know me.zz in Lowyatt is the same as vernonmywc in lelong? Answer: Same HP number, same modus operandi

me.zz (Lowyat.net) + vernonwyc (lelong.com.my) <- SAME PERSON (H/P: 016-9279675)

I saw his advert in Lelong.com.my, under ID: vernonwyc
I called him, said ok.
I paid him upfront of RM100 for an OMNIA 2 he was selling at RM750 (which was damn cheap!)
He said it was a deal.
Next thing, he said he changed his mind, said his friend say don't send the phone unless I pay at least half. Anyways cut it short, I paid him another RM150.
TOTAL paid: RM 250!

(BTW: When I said no deal, he keep smssing me and asking me whether I want or not, saying this and that. Even after I said no deal.)


SHIPPING of supposed OMNIA 2:

Said he'll ship on Wednesday. I keep smssing this guy sooooooooooo many times and he just take his sweet time to answer. Really bad service! Until I get so effing pissed with him. Call, but NEVER answer at all!

FINALLY he smsed me on Wednesday evening saying he had already shipped the item. Gave me the Gdex shipping no.
I called Gdex next day and found out that the tracking no ( 6549666312 ) is not a valid Gdex no! Bloody hell, I was so effing pissed at the guy, I think I sent him close to 10+ sms plus call him non-stop until today, Friday!
Best thing is, this guy HAS NOT REPLIED me AT ALL! The item has not arrived until today! PLUS NO REPLY FROM HIM!

Anyone who has fallen victim/lost money to this idiot? I am proposing we meet up to lodge a police report and this could lead to a summon which can freeze all his official transactions.

If a few of us make a report, it will carry more weight than if 1 person were to go.

So far there are 2 victims and we'll wait for others so we can make a report together.

by the time you group everyone up to make a police report, the seller may have already covered up his tracks and long gone... you should take ownership of what happened to you and lodge a police report first with the case open. and the rest who's been conned lodge later date to relate back to your case...

just think if someone got snatch theft on the road in Kuala Lumpur by 2 motorcyclists with red helmet and number plate ZZZ 9999, the victim will post a message out and asks who else got robbed and then make a police report together?

i know my example is out of topic but i think you should take the initiative to go ahead and report the crime against you rather than waiting for a number of people. 1 person report, 5 person report, the time it takes to solve the case will most likely be the same if you look the dispute forums long enough but at least the police have a record of the scammer in hand and you may be able to save someone from being conned or police might be lucky enough to locate the person above mentioned

i'm 1 of the victim of this seller, saw his thread in mudah.my selling omnia2 for RM800. ask me to bank in half but at d end change to i bank in RM50 and bank in the rest after i got d hp. thinking of trying my luck coz RM50 is not so a lot tat time.
after i bank in the money then he said wan cancel d deal coz got another buyer willing to bank in half for him, trying to con me to bank in half. so i agree to cancel d deal n ask him to refund, but he dun dare to accept call n reply sms to me after that.

Cheque I think you can still ask you bank to cancel it rite ? Anyway, maybe he use others account to settle debt.

i already try call my banker for cancell the cheque on tuesday 2nd of feb coz monday is public holiday,

Wouldn't it be better if a police report is to be made than just posting here right?

I suggest you all to be discussing on a particular date and time to do the report and not making the matter bigger as it is.

Report and pray for the best. Discussing here would only damage his sales but not put him down.

i got an idea, seems most of the account is the same(hong leong 14351049053), we should stand out together to track this guy down. it should easy to do, coz bank will hv all of his account. what we should do is go to police station and do the report together, hope all of u guys still keeping all the evidence, like bank slip and sms. coz with so many ppl get cheated n do report, police will care about this case, and we can take the report and request the bank to expose all of his detail to us. reply me if someone is agree and wanna do the samething with me, we should stop this guy!!!
