obvious answers.

1. put somebody that knows and love football in charge of FAM. somebody who got the credibility.

2. no tie-ins with political person / org. hard to do bcoz of our gov mentality.

3. marketing team that capable of bringing private company to sponsored. the tobacco company ban from sponsoring sports even has been cancel so it was a good 1st step.

4. stop whining and actually go to the games sometimes. even it's not as good as BPL, it's quite entertaining if u lowered your expectation honestly. suport the league. i'm going to plus fc vs selangor.. let's go!

sports betting is a no-no. with our bribe culture, it will destroy the game like it once did in the 90's.

the thing about growing from grass roots, youth football is kinda good. example: malaysia under 23, 20, 16. but classic FAM, after the fine display at sea games they planning for not allowing the players to play in the super league. how to sharpen the skill and match fitness if not regularly play?

football for a living? harimau muda (under 20) makes 2.5k a month. and average earning among my friends who play in the super / premier league is about 5k. some players even earn > 10k. so it's not that bad. only they need to taught how to spend and invest after retirement.

5 figure salary is for those right at the top of the scale..how many of them actually make it all the way up there? compare that to other career paths that they can take..
even for average player in poor club such as KL is getting above 3k which is i think not bad considering many 9 to 5 office workers doesnt make that much.

how about bring back the days where Malaysian clubs play with the Singaporean clubs. this will increase the popularity of the sports. more viewers. Malaysia+ Singapore + Brunei...this will be more interesting.

singapore withdrawn because they want to build up their own league.
