put the update.zip at the root folder of ur sd card. meaning just copy n paste into the sd card.

I don't have that prob. After some time with the nexus I can say the keyboard is as good as iPhone keyboard..

right now i've celcom 3g and maxis 3g in each of my phone. i also have celcom3g broadband and digi 3g broadband.

i can say maxis is the fastest on its day. but for most consistent connection must be the digi. celcom stimes lost 3g connection (or disconnect for broadband).. digi not that fast, but never dc or lost coverage.

but bear in mind digi 3g coverage is still very small. and i said based on my experience of using digi broadband at my home. so for mobile phone the result might be vary bcoz you r moving around many places..

how come u guys got update OTA? i thought that kind of update is offered by the carrier..

just had 1st problem with my nexus one...

the ringtone wont come out even i didnt set the volume at silent / vibrate. restart and battery pull also wont solve the problem.. change ringtone also wont solve it. but notification and alarms work like usual..

lastly i reset the phone to its factory setting. lolz.

just got the epikcase and the screen protector from AskarPerang.

the screen protector will act as back up for my invisibleshield..
while the epikcase i'll use it whenever i need extra protection let say if i'm doing outdoor activity..

my feedback is i can say the quality is on par with my blackberry's soft jacket. but at rm15, i cant say how long this
thing will last. even though i dun see any reason why it should not have same reliability as the capdase.

and for rm15, i dun think i could spend my money better than buying this case.

i just tried the scenario, and didnt encounter any problem with call waiting / swapping call.. maybe just check at settings > call settings > additional settings

search for this software: lock2.0

why only rooted phone is worth to try the new unofficial rom? or do u mean unroot phone cant even update it?

i believe once u've rooted ur phone u'll get option for maybe better rom but definitely earlier rom than the ota will reach u..

Added on February 18, 2010, 7:41 pmi just managed applying the cyanogen mod rom..

i had a problem before where my nexus stuck at loading screen. did a battery pull wont solve it.. so what i did is went into RA recovery and wipe my nexus before update the file again..

my 1st impression is..

1) my nexus is as fast as usual - it's always a fast phone rite
2) now i manage to get Hsdpa speed instead of 3G. which bring this nexus equals to my officemate htc snap.. but not sure who is fastest in real situation..
3) i dun have to set the maxis 3g setting manually.. it's all there from the start.

now wanna go home and play with phone after dinner
