google price for battery is fair enough USD25 but the shipping cost maybe more than the price itself unless we do bulk order.

I know what is root is tongue.gif I am a UNIX administrator myself..just waiting for some custom rom to fix all the problems before rooting, because I need to root in order to flash the custom rom sad.gif
*
cyanogen ROM is stable enough..i never had any problem with it...perhaps it's much better than stock ROM. i cannot compare since i rooted and flash to cyanogen ROm a few hours after i bought my N1

Possible to add in details user guide of flashing custom Radio?
*
i use this command:

fastboot flash radio radio.img

* radio.img is whatever your radio image file name

and i flash the radio file before the WIPE process not after install the ROM as per instruction in cyanogen thread on the first post.

INSTRUCTIONS:

- First time flashing CM to your Nexus (or coming from another ROM)?
1. Unlock your device and install Amon_RA's recovery image
2. Do a Nandroid backup!
3. Update your radio if necessary
4. WIPE
5. Install the ROM
5. Optionally install the Google Addon

- Upgrading?
1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
2. Install the ROM (your Google apps will be backed up automatically)

hey guys, so i got my nexus one yesterday and i found a problem with my phone(or its just something about the phone that i dont understand at all). So the problem is my contacts, after i've finished setting up my email for google and stuffs, all of my contacts in my phone book went missing, but when i go and search for them via the search button im still able to look for them. But once i access my phone book everything's gone.

So anyone here managed to encounter the same problem as mine but managed to fix them? Hopefully its not any big problems here. =/
*
maybe u can check display contacts settings...mine is set to display only contacts with phone numbers.
you set to show all contacts first and let see the result.

hi all....just got my N1 from irwan yesterday. it rocks!

i would like to know if it is possible to connect my N1 via USB to my laptop for internet access? Meaning, laptop is already connected to the internet, and I have no data plan.

I have read a few posts elsewhere but so far no solution.

I know PDANet (via tethering) is to connect laptop to the internet via N1, but i would like the other away round.

Thanks!
*
your only option is to use wifi if that's the case.

Hey N1 users, my friend from the states is gonna get me a unit of N1 from over there. He's asking me there's two N1 phone which have different UMTS bands which are 900/AWS/2100 MHz and the 850/1900/2100 MHz. so which one works for Digi and major telco company in Malaysia?
*
ask him to buy the t-mobile version (900/AWS/2100 MHz)
