Can explain more why you said it is failure?

For me, Nexus One is by far the best phone I ever use.

Oh i see, means you can't get away from iPhone already. Ops!

Not deny for gaming, iPhone still the best, but for apps, freedom, customize, friendly, I still preferred Android.

The only thing I extremely hate iPhone is a MUST using iTunes, and limitation / restriction by Apple. I know jailbreak can settle it but due to Apple keep hardly restricted it, jailbreak became a nightmare on it.

I just installed the Papago M6 into my N1, but, how can I use MFM smile.gif It's looks nice, but, without MFM, it is useless. smile.gif

Actually very easy to install, even with GNU/Linux. Extract all the files based on the link in previous post, and install the .apk file from papago. Luckily I can read Chinese characters and 'agak-agak' the meaning, because, all the menus are in Chinese.
As a proof here is the screenshot smile.gif 3D buildings... quite smooth, just acceptable.
TQ.
*
As I know Papago M6 only for Taiwan map, they is no way for inserting / changing to others map. Only X5 can but X5 not supporting 2.1 at the moment.

*
oh, Blackberry 9700 not bad for non-touch phone - speedy and I love the optical trackpad, the trackpad is the best I ever seen b4. Your company so good, give you such high spec phone, I always get cheap cheap phone... bleh... never over price than RM 500 one.

Actually I believe some company misunderstand that only Blackberry can do push email (I only seen blackberry good for pushing ops!), actually I don't think it is so much must. As long your phone can auto sync and you will get mail instant as well.

Check below for instruction:

Guys, there is no problem to enter english in Papago M6. Everything from POI to addresses are working fine. All you need to do is just turning off the default built-in chinese keyboard. Go to setting and turn the last fourth option (智能型注音快拼) off.
*
Wow! Thanks a lot! I didn't notice got such option. Thanks rclxms.gif

Oh btw, which smartphone uses ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor ?

Not even yet got v2, how come coming v3 tongue.gif

Samsung i9000 use ARM Cortex A8 1Ghz processor (also call Hummingbird). From spec, it written more triangle render than Quadcomm 1Ghz, but in actual don't know as you know Samsung is badly on producing 3D render engine.

QUOTE(blueyan @ Apr 15 2010, 08:24 AM)
guys , how many ROM is available to install apps when you first received your nexus ? I've read somewhere in android community . They mention you only have 100mb to install apps , other 4xx mb cant be use and reserved by something else . So they recommend apps to SD ,  to let you install in ur SD card . I dont want to root my phone as it will void the warranty , probabbly I might root it after the warranty expired .

So is that true ? you only have 100mb to install apps when u first received ur N1 ? if it is not 100mb , then many MB you have ? thanks
*
I think more than 100MB. Maybe around 150MB or more, but surely less than 200MB.

I not so sure, sorry.

I root my phone in 2nd day after using it and Apps2SD is a must for installing a lot of apps. By using Apps2SD and partition it to 512MB (only 457MB available) as SD-Ext. After installing of 120++ apps , I still left 183MB of SD-Ext and my internal RAM still free of 100MB. smile.gif

wow so fast, andrew u have flash the 5.0.6 test 3 rom!

so far any improvement on the sound and battery life?
*
I already switch back as I cannot stand the slow launcher, all 5.0.6 now got lagging launcher issue. You won't notice the lagging if your home screen is nothing, once you added a lot of widgets expecially the beautiful widgets or weather widget you will notice the lagging issue.

Others is great just the launcher got problem.
