tweak ? can teach me how to disable it ? i already install bsb inside my unit .. but dn know wat to choose to disable this
*
It is HD2Tweak not BsB. Since the problem happens when you roll, it is most probably triggered by the Accelerometer. At HD2Tweak deactivate the Accelerometer at 21.1. This will also disable all the other functions relying on the Accelerometer, which you may want functioning.

If deactivating the accelerometer does not solve the problem you may have to consider a hard reset. sad.gif

i installed that cookie home tab, but i couldnt see the registry,
so i installed registry editor: regedit.Mrln_ARM, then i opened it, it was PHMRegEdit but i still couldnt not see the registry entries of cookies home tab, so i downloaded ISO-8859-1_Co0kie.HomeTab & clicked the reg file, it opened up the PHM RegEdit, but i still cannot see the cookie entries in registry... so i couldnt change the setting, the cookie home tab is in default state now...
I have no idea sure what i did wrong...  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

It is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\
PHMRegEdit should get you there.
CeRegEditor is a freeware which allows you to edit the registry via ActiveSync. It is much easier to use.

Thanks DrWho smile.gif

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\  was where i looked for the registry entries but no where in sight.

Using CeRegEdit at my PC also did not find those cookies home tab reg entries too in the phone...

When they say import the reg file means click on it right?
*
I assume you are familiar with using Registry Editor.
What you are experiencing is similar to a few have experienced at XDA.
Solution: Uninstall the cab, turn device off and turn on( Not soft reset), install cab, turn device off and on again. You should see registry now. smile.gif

hd2 tweak ? erm .. where can i get this application ?? from xda  ?

There is such a thing called Google brows.gif
HERE

Caution: If you are using BsB Tweak, avoid using HD2Tweak section 14 HTC Sense and 18 Performance - Energy, as they are known to crash the device which requires a hard reset. I am talking thru experience with this hard reset blush.gif

Thanks a bundle, DrWho,  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

I did 2 or 3 times and finally i can see those cookies registry entries now....  rclxms.gif
By the way,
I have installed a phone conversation recorder, it automatically records all phone conversations...
I need it because evry time when client tells me some details over the phone & then i need to search for pen & paper high & low...
Now very convenient....recordings are purely for personal use only.

However, this program is causing massive slowdown & drain lotsa battery...  what a shame, otherwise , it's a great program!!

I am glad you have sorted it out. V1.5.2Test is the latest version.

@dgtel2

Thank you for the new Radio.

I almost bricked my device, downloaded from the Rapidshare site and flashed with CustomRUU.exe and the flash failed. Flashing with another Radio did not help. Had to Hard Reset then flashed another Radio. Downloaded the Radio from Megaupload and successfully flashed, lost a few heartbeats in between! wink.gif

The CustomRRU method may not work SOMETIMES. That's why use SD Card method to be on the safe side.

Did you guys managed to get the 576MB RAM enabled woth this new 2.08 Radio> Mine doesn't under stock 1.66 stock ROM.
*
Suspect it was caused by the corrupted file from Rapidshare. XDA reporting a few corrupted file circulating. The one from Megaupload is OK.

Did not get the 576MB RAM sad.gif

To get 576MB RAM, OEMDrivers and OEMDriversHigh need to be at least from T-Mobile test ROM 2.02 and above. That's to say, it must be a customized ROM. My ROM has supports 576MB RAM. Does it make the phone running faster? --> Nope.  sweat.gif
*
A good example which I have tried, Dutty v1.6 with 576 MB RAM is slower than Dutty V1.8a with 448 MB RAM. It is not essential that 576 MB RAM is faster.

Guys, just want to check with you guys about the rom flashing side effect before i really go and flash a new rom.

If i backup all my system files with "sprite backup", can i restore every software i installed back to the same like the one i just used in old rom after i flash in the new rom? Or i have to install all the software 1 by 1 again after rom flashing.
*
If you successfully restored your backup EVERYTHING will be restored including settings and programs. However when you change ROM you may not necessary restore successfully. For SpriteBackup you want to select Level 1 to restore.

I use both Sprite and SPB Backup to restore each time I flash. There is no hard and fast rule which one is better or which one will work. Sometime only SPB Backup will work, other time only Sprite Backup will work. That is why I use both biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Is it possible to install software from marketplace into the storage card? because each time i install software from marketplace it'll install directly into the device storage.
*
You can use SKTools to move any program from your Device to the Storage Card. smile.gif

why my hd2 alway pop out the error msg such as service.exe and device.exe ? wat happen le ? it is laggy .. everyday have to open the bak cover n soft reset it .. 1 day around 3 to 4 time .. need some advise..

Easily resolved. Hard Reset will solve the problem. Hopefully you can still Backup and the System data are still good. Solution:backup with SPB Backup and or Sprite Backup. Hard Reset and restore all system and PIM data and the error message will disappear.

If the problem persist after a Hard Reset then you have a SERIOUS problem. I have my doubt though.
Do you know how to hard reset?
What did you do after the Hard Reset?

Need more info for us to help you sort out your problem, the more detail the better.

Try the followings;
1. You need to soft reset your device at least once a day, so as to free the RAM and Stop and not just minimize the running Applications. HERE is a program with the Soft Reset button which you could easily use.
2. You need to install Dutty Task Manager so that you can stop not just minimize the running applications.
3. You are heavy SMS user. Try tweak #82 so that your text mail is always loaded as it takes time to load a long list if SMSs. I suspect this this the cause of your error, ie, rushing to send SMS before it is fully loaded.

Lastly if all the above do not solve your problem, REFLASH your ROM!

i'm having trouble to choose custom rom, but i don't have time to try all the roms......recommendations are really needed biggrin.gif

Speed > as long as not slower than 1.66 stock rom
Storage size left after hard reset > as many as possible
Memory > activate the forbidden memory lolx
Stability > of coz this is the most important...

currently checking on this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=631662
as it seems very promising from the screenshot.

any advise?

Fancy looking ROM is basically FANCY LOOKING only. Two trusted and proven chefs, Dutty and Miri.
I am using Dutty V1.8 ROM with Radio 2.08.50.08. Recommended, fast and stable with good battery life.

Install QuickGPS if it is not already installed in your device. This program will recall satellite positions and Garmin will lock in within 1 min.

hmm, unfortunately no =.=

EDIT: I'm using Mp4ForHd converter, but the video is a bit out of sync.. Any better converters?
*
The best Dvix encoder I have come across that can convert most movie/video format to avi Pocket PC is Pocket DivX Encoder. So far I have been able to play all the video converted by this program at my KS20, Omnia, HTC HD and now HD2. The BEST thing is, this program is FREE. I have tried many commercial converters and found this to be the best for PPC/Smartphone.

Download from here.

Less resolution but trouble-free. Unless the original video native resolution is HD quality, you will not see much difference in HD2 screen.
