2005: STPM - March 16 ; SPM - March 13 2006: STPM - March 15 ; SPM - March 12 2007: STPM - March 12 ; SPM - March 11 2008: STPM - March 10 ; SPM - March 12 2009: STPM - Feb 25 ; SPM - ? So as you all can see, every year STPM and SPM results were annouced after 1 to 3 days after one another: 2005 - 3 days 2006 - 2 days 2007 - 1 day 2008 - 2 days 2009 - ? I personally think the date would be after 1st batch ns, b4 2nd batch. It would be very troublesome if the result release earlier when the 1st batch ppl still in the camp. No point release spm so early... unlike stpm... more preparation needed to enter uni or applying scholarship.
Next, STPM is not affected by national service. Despite STPM is expected to be released on 25th feb, I personally dun think it will affect spm release date. i have done my SPM last last year and yea the feeling before getting results was terrible
what i did was, avoid anybody that i know when i went to collect (at 2pm smth) that time all my friends long gone, so they wont ask how i score in SPM, just rush over the office , get the thing, and slowly one by one very slowly see the grade lor (i do it in taxi heading home lol) |

First rule : PLKN still in camp. U cant announce something while ppl are in camp, ppl need to take result back, share it with the family etc. Cannot just announce so early. The day Ur frens come back from NS, then few days later result will come out |

But you know, a food for thought, if they release it during NS, they would probably send letters to all of the SPM '09 leavers. which would cost alot of paper and money.

It varies between schools ^^ Last time when I took my SPM results I went there about 10 AM.The results were released to us about 10.40 or so.Most of us just went with T-shirts and jean XD straight away see teacher after and go to Times Square after that ^^

Each school has different regulations some want you to wear skema some don't care I was from an SBP as well SM Sains Selangor ^^ We could come in anything we want as long as it is decent ^^ some of my friends purposely wear baju batik and some traditional cloths ^^" just for the fun of it but they brought extra t-shirt to change into.

if my school, they will not allowed student wearing short pant or hot pant to come inside school. just wear normal2 one...not 2 stylish or sexy...

There is no point of arguing when SPM results would come out. Arguing on the Internet or even over this matter is somewhat pointless.
What you should do know is embrace yourself . If you're very confident enough , its time to prepare documents and stuff for scholarship or look for other routes you plan to do. Plan you route from now rather then arguing 'ZOMG when SPM results are going to come out' Nevertheless , all the best. You must plan ahead of your time first so that you will not make the same mistakes (if you did any) as you did in SPM ! |

well i was on facebook this morning and a friend told me the results gonna be out on 11th march. i asked her why she said so? well my friend's sister is a teacher at SBPI and she help to send letters to other SBPs telling that the 'anugerah SBP' will fall on 12th march....so the results will come out earlier than that date.....my friends at PLKN also said its at that date.....

nope , matrikulasi is a pre-uni programme in malaysia. It's also one of the pathway you can take to enter the public universities in Malaysia.

why i didn't feel anything? is this what they call over confident?damn it i feel so relaxing and my parents also didn't give me much pressure or something..only my long distance relative and mom's friends keep asking how many A'ss did i get, damn so bz body....they know i mess up my spm ,lolll i realize it to late how important is education in life...but now im aware of it so gonna do my best shot on stpm/foundation/pre-u.

Interesting, I feel the opposite you guys do. I get excited to get my results instead of scared. Must be my high tolerance factor, I recover very fast in case of depressing results (just 1 day).

i wear Colar Shirt + Jeans + shoe, spike my hair up with wax lol.
Who cares, they wont stop u from entering school. but that differs from school to school. entering a school with a top+mini skirt is a nono for school. |

Some teachers are strict. If the dress code is not known, dress according to the visitor dress code which your school has set.

if u want to be HERO when taking result on that day, there is one way
if ur school allows casual wear when u take result, instead wear School Uniform, clean white shoes, cut hair to short hair, and take school bag go. instant hero XD |

I'm from Penang too , i am going to the Education Fair tomorow (sunday) . But without result , it's hard to do anything in the edu fair. Anyone know is there any edu fair on june or may ?
