My friend just graduated from Uni of Seoul or Uni or Korea. Forgot already. laugh.gif
Under JPA scholarship, I think it was Advanced Diploma... hmm.gif But equivalent to Degree over here.
Another best friend in France now, also under JPA, her course is equivalent to Master Degree in Malaysia. smile.gif

Yes, my friend completed his Degree in Uni of Korea. Just confirmed with him. tongue.gif
3rd best uni in Korea so I heard.
Not bad lo, but my friend is smart and hardworking type. smile.gif
Didn't really use up his "bumiputra" status and parents as government servant as an excuse to slack. smile.gif

JPA = Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam a.k.a. PSD = Public Service Department
A scholarship given by government but you may need to be bonded with certain of period upon your completion of studies.
IPTS = Institut Pengajian Tinggi Swasta
The "swasta" part already reflects the fees rate. tongue.gif

Yes. smile.gif Just graduated last month. smile.gif
He studied Chemical Engineering there. He is lesser suffer compared to my best friend in France. At least he studied in English but need to learn Korean language also.
My best friend, on another hand, is doing her Engineering now in French. 100%. Imagine her thesis, exams and projects are in French. smile.gif
But my best friend is doing really well over there. smile.gif
My friend in Korea took about 5 1/2 years to complete whole thing.
My best friend in France will finish her course in 7 years, this is her 6th year there but her cert is equivalent to Master Degree in Malaysia. smile.gif

PTPTN covers most of the universities and colleges. smile.gif
Actually JPA also applicable for unis and colleges. smile.gif
JPA not necessary for overseas studies. smile.gif

Not nice to give his contact like this. smile.gif
In short, his studies from preparatory till Degree is sponsored by JPA.
He continued from Diploma and proceeded to Degree.
He did his course in Uni of Korea for 5 1/2 years.
In Chemical Engineering.
What else do you want to know?
