no brother. I placed it using usb(downloaded frm the website using laptop and palce into my phone) and click install, it says Isstaller in prigress. So All I did was remove card, and put it back, now it works... I fear the next time everytime I start my phone up, to install apps, I have to remove the card and put back in. Dunno if its fw problem or my phone is running installer in the bg when started 
Anyway, thanks for your help. So after installing it, I assume it doesnt come with any maps installed?(I straight start it in offline mode)

Oh, so right now it runs "offline" is it? No charges? ? All I know is the dealer installed for me Garmin(6months ago) all I see si the satelitte icon, no wifi, 3.5g sign.

I finally found it..
Seem in my case, there is something trying to install in the memory card..
Try this.. Go to
Apps -> File Manager -> Option -> Remove Memory Card..
U no need to remove the card... It will say closing application..
Once done, u can install.. I think i wrongly installed something in my memory card..
I remember i had problems is the OVI store.

voices are optional, u can download via OVI maps itself in the settings ..    important is map, i think better remove voice from FP to avoid confusing 
if ure house is no.1, taman abcd 10/1A, petaling jaya, use taman abcd 10 petaling jaya ..
yes, as i said earlier, only contacts n msgs are important, copy it and keep in safe place, u can do it weekly or monthly basis, depending ure phonebook updates

the settings bug is not yet fixed by Nokia, tats y u cant restore it, if u restore .. ur homescreen will crash 

Oh  ic. No keep it there, it's alright. At least ppl got choice to listen to other voices.
Hey, so if I wanna put mroe than ONE map, I just paste it over the diskcache folder? I rmb some pop-up coming up asking me to replace one file(of course it was a larger size)....

ok tis is weird...
i nid to sign in one time inside the ovi map before i could search for street address
it searched once online...the subsequent ofline searches can be done edi

oh yah frgot to mention, i had the same, was chatting with sklchan, i got mine ok once i logon to update the weather / other stuff..

i think the OVI maps sends some activation at background to enable authetication on a device b4 offline proceeding
