The new Ovi Maps, it charges for data usage, is it true Garmin doesnt charge for data usage, it just connects to its satelitte?

now Ovi Maps is free. juz update it.

do again hard reset and just restore contact n msgs, delete the settings permanently, u cant restore it, dont keep it.. remember just restore contact n msgs, restart ure fone immediately, dont install any apps .. try n see wer the fault is

nope, im using 100% Internal GPS, fast lock even im inside my room now .. just disable A-GPS N-GPS B-GPS .. enable only I-GPS

I keep trying to install it through the message sent by nokia which linked u to the website, it keeps sayin Cant open file, Installer in progress(i've restarted my phone already)

Er... how to delete the settings permanently? u mean when i back up tat time i dun nid to back up settings n UserFiles? Juz back up msg,contacts,calender entries n bookmarks? O.o

sweat, i left my usb cable at hostel and no card reader now. Is there any way to get ovi maps into my tube now?

connect ure device in Mass Storage mode, enable view hidden / system files in windows explorer, then u'll see a folder in memory card called "Backup" ure backup files are there, delete all except contact n messages

No, it seems I cant install it. It keeps saying Unable to start Operation, Installer already in use.

no brother. I placed it using usb(downloaded frm the website using laptop and palce into my phone) and click install, it says Isstaller in prigress. So All I did was remove card, and put it back, now it works... I fear the next time everytime I start my phone up, to install apps, I have to remove the card and put back in. Dunno if its fw problem or my phone is running installer in the bg when started


Anyway, thanks for your help. So after installing it, I assume it doesnt come with any maps installed?(I straight start it in offline mode)
