They probably spend hundreds of dollars at CC every month, playing the same game over and over; when they could just buy it for much less (long term)

Here's my 2 cents of the issue, the best reason for buying not pirated games is to ensure that the content owner ie. the studios gets paid for their investment in people and production of the game. If they get paid the company continues to exist thus creating more games for the consumers. Besides keeping the studios afloat we ie. the gamers will have the privilege to play online especially on the current gen consoles. In another perspective, before we gamers go splurging on games, we do our research first to ensure that we'll be getting our money's worth for a single title and ensuring that we'd be entertained for hours and weeks before hunting for the next game to play.

Hahahaha..Don't worry about them.

Buying original is much more better and worth it even tho' at a pricey price..

So, those who said it is dumb to buy original games, they are just jealous and envious because you can buy original games and they couldn't.

If I were like you, I would say," So what? Using my money mah, not yours. So, why do you care?" Sure they will shut up one..

So, just continue enjoying the original games lah. Just ignore those envious flies..

I feel dumb buying original games when the original games I buy :

1) Has bugs/glitches but the developer did not fix them (silent hill 5, ffx international, genji on ps3, fatal frame 4 etc)

2) The price quickly drop after I buy it. Or Play Asia give big discount after I buy it.

3) The game is lousy and not worth the money I paid for.

Besides that, I am happy to buy and own them

If they come over to play my PS3 but still saying craps about original games, I might as well lock my PS3 away in my room and bring out PS2 for them to play (which I have few original games)..

true...i oso feel cheated when they want us to buy extra costumes/moves/items through DLC when they could have included it in the 1st place.....DLC tat is sort of expansions/episodes is fine...but not items/characters.....

i dont really care about the DLC's because the developers have created a game that is already complete. there is no need for them to put in extra effort for costumes when they dont have to. think about it this way~ if you were a game developer and finished the game already, would you spend an extra few thousand dollars and a few weeks to release an extra costume or item? no need right? so just put as DLC, if you dont want it you dont need it. if you want it you buy it lah.

Some people think just because u r not wealthy, it is ok for u to commit crime, such as stealing.

But what if I want to play the game and I have no money to buy original? Don't I have the rights to play whatever game I want after paying so much for the console?

Hahahahah..guys, guys..It's not dumb to buy original games coz it's your money anyway. Who are they to say that? Anyway, even if you want to buy the JS version than original, then it's your choice la..

Can't buy original, just rent a game of two. I think there is one in KL that offers the service..

well i dunno about you, but for me its like if i want that game no 1 could stop me from buying it, if you dont have the $ its either to go 2nd hand or go for rental. if those 2 are not an option for you, then its best you work hard with an motivation of getting that game.

it will make you treasure the game when you buy it with yr hard earn money.

i notice ppl who plays pirate games dont actually finished all thier games. ppl who buys original mostly finish them clean before selling it off.

this is also why most of the developers dont include full content in the game because of pirates. example: dragon age, they would be missing the blood dragon armor(free code) & the Golem Shale(free code). (soldier's peak is only for limited edition), now we are about to get "Return of Ostagar" & the next expansion on March 16, which the pirate user has no access to, unless they come out with an expansion disc.

my point is the game already contains those extra stuff...y shud we pay extra to get those items already in the disc.......eg characters tat have been developed and included in the disc (SCIV) y shud i pay to unlock yoda?? the same goes to costumes/items....those r already in the game.....meaning we hav paid for those items.....
