bro, it's not home made capacitors... it's a full circuitry with calculations and tests made in order to achieve stability of the circuit. Without proper technical knowledge, u're unable to fabricate similar item with proper stability and functionality... I can only agree that by buying capacitors and fabricate the circuit board may not take that much money in terms of cost involved but here u're buying a service from Eric which he take care of the R&D and produce one VS which is stable and produce expected outcome without u having sleepless nights juz to trouble shoot the dam circuit problems I personally can design and build the same VS myself but just don't have the time with work commitments so I'd juz go ahead with Eric's and with RM150, it's about the price range of alot of China products lurking around and by the looks of it the capacity is far from Eric's VS...

If u wanna compare with RAIZIN VS, you can check the thread for feedbacks where ppl used raizin and Eric's VS b4... There'll definately be a difference... Spec to spec if you compare, Eric's would have a higher capacity... That pls check yourself. For rm150, getting the expected effect of VS and a 2 years 1-1 exchange warranty... It's money worth spent...

IMHO, if bro Eric slap some sort of brand onto his product, I'm sure it'll not be RM150 anymore...

Hi ck_boon, what i thought is same as what psychict mentioned below, if you're getting expensive VS at perhaps 300 +, are you getting what you have paid for ?, and are they providing you the service that you expect ? Are you getting your replacement VS immediately when you call for service ?

Home made stuff has a benefit because the setup cost is low and the part that i use are all quality and are expect to give good performance and durability, well the reason is for factory manufactured product, they're in this behavior:
Factory -> reseller 1 -> reseller 2 -> consumer

However home made product are:
Home -> consumer

Do you see the the different ? Homemade product doesn't go through commission taking in the intermediate level and thus there are addtional cost which could be used up to make the product so wonderful and giving away very good service.

Again, if a brand is to be attached and the look is to be polished, then it's not RM 150 anymore.

hello guys..i just cod-ed wif eric at 6:30pm just now n he installed it to my car..

here are the early result..

aircond-damn cooler then b4
AC compressor kick in- no feel(it feels like ur AC is not on at all!!
Lights-brighter
dash board lights-also become brighter!!
I.C.E-sound become more clearer although im still on stock ICE but its REALLY CLEAR.
When gear shifts(AT)-REALLY SMOOTH...!!!
FC-still monitoring...will update after a week...
