anyhow here is my feedback after 2 months detailed evaluation of the new vs with blue cables.

im driving a toyota vios 2003 with mods that increased my curb weight, increase my fuel consumption, increase electric usage.

after installed the old vs from eric instant feel a big difference in the fuel consumption area, and electric current. 2 months ago i upgraded since eric told me that his new vs will give me a shock. and it did
ok heres my report
1. fuel consumption
previously with eric's old vs 1 tank 40litres = Maximum 450km fuel light on or in my case my fuel bar blinks
now with eric's new vs 1 tank 40litres = 500km.

Im on Ron97 btw. for heavy high revving driving i still can hit up to 470km. normal town driving can hit up to 500km. highway driving can reach 480km ++ depending on distance. i was amazed after this new was installed.

2. engine performance.
previously on the old vs, there is still alot improvement, ilde at 900rpm engine quite even my 4" HKS Titanium tip exhaust with straight flow also quite. sound db not more than 30db. During normal driving, when i accelerate i feel my car is very light and easy going. Feels like there is no stress on the engine. Runs smoothly. But i strongly recommend if you want to use this vs to get this feeling, you must get Denso Iridium spark plugs. i change 4 plugs the vs + very good sparks distribution for distributed combustion = awsome!

3. Aircond
previously on eric's old vs the aircond temp improved alot. even during 12 noon hot sun my cabin temp is still at optimum, still feels cold. After parking whole day under the sun, your aircond would have hot air coming out from the vents, but amazingly with his vs installed, cold air instantly flows out no matter how long i parked. Personally i park 8.30-6pm same spot under sun without shade. After work, get in the car, start car, on aircond, wow cold air satisfied~

When the new vs was installed, 1st thing i noticed is, my windows fog up, too cold! no need explain why lo. =p
i measured the temperature with cabin thermometer that aircond service ppl use to check if the air is cold, temperature is 15' with doors close 20' with doors open at 2-3pm afternoon (still very hot sun). At night i still needa use a jacket coz it too cold even if i turn my temperature to warm

4. Here comes my ICE (In car Entertainment)
Im running on a entry level SQ setup. Previously on the old vs, i feel there is a very very very minor static sound from my tweeters, im very sensitive towards my SQ so if i detect anything i ask my ICE sifu check for me he say its electric current sound. hmmmm......

After installed the new VS, i push the limit of the treble. amazed again silent tweeters =p awsome~~
Improved sound quality too! can push to a higher volume but still maintaining clarity of the sound quality.

5. My Throttle response.
Ok, the main purpose i bought his vs at the 1st place was i saw alot of feedback regarding throttle response improved. When i 1st used his vs, really improved alot as my car was a 2nd hand and i didnt know what did the previous owner did to the throttle. Before installing any vs if i floor my pedal to the metal i need to wait like 2 seconds before the gear changes to low gear. Then after installing the 1st vs, if i floor almost within 1seconds the gear will respond.

Now after installing the new vs, i floor pedal to the metal, before i even hit the metal im already at low gear flying to 5000-7000rpm and shifting to another gear already. Which means, the response is almost instant. Almost. I think for a vs, it is that much it can do already, if i still wan more improvement i think i need to get pivot,d1 3 profile throttle controller edi. So, i can say, for the response, im satisfied totaly.

6. High rev improvement.
I always travel to cameron and i love the roads there.. ya as we know its call Touge. Hence i always high rev at mountains, The previous vs also help me but i feel it was not enought, High revving sound was not smooth as expected. and during shifting gears i feel lost of power and lag.
Now After this new vs, i testing it recently at cameron highlands where shifting and high revving was so smooth it felt like i was driving on a flat road going on NSE The sound of the engine was very smooth and steady. Shifting was exceptionally smooth and shifting to low gear did not disrupt the power much. As Vios is an auto car, hence using a torque converter power loss is unavoidable, but with this vs i felt a very less power loss as i cant exit corners faster than normal by alot =p

Ok i'll end my report here but i also want to tell anybody who is interested in getting this VS.
1. If you want STYLE like MegaRaizin. dont get this.
2. If you want Cool looking engine bay with striking colours, Dont get this.

This vs is purely on QUALITY, not style no cool. The quality of the heat insulation wrapping around the vs is very good quality and you can see very clearly that is it DIY done as there is some leftover dunlop glue that can be seen at the edges. The cables of this new VS is high quality cables that improve current flow into and out of the vs smoothly. There is a RED led at the face that the cables are coming out from and the VS is sticked onto ur car body or battery with an extremely high quality double sided tape. IF you know your tapes, u will know this double sided tape is one of the best, even better than the normal dark grey 3m tape. This tape is transparent, and if you want to stick it better clean the surface before you stick, because once u stick it there..it will stick there PERMENANTLY!

Overall look of the vs, its abit bulky but this means whatever that is inside is not fake! When u hold it u can feel abit weight around 1kg maybe but quality assured i can say. If you are seeking quality and not some immitation fake stuff. this is the vs for you. I didnt regret at all in fact i already bought 4 units of vs and 3 units of preciesly cut grounding cables. Im sure eric will do more improvement in size and quality too. He is a pure enthusist that just want to bring quality to us consumers with a very budget price! thumbs up! i give this product a 9/10! 1 mark deducted because 10/10 means other product cannot buy edi =p like insulting brands, dun wanna do that
Oh ya, btw, eric is also a very efficient seller, i called him at 10 or 11 once and he still is very patient with me and slowly explain to me about the new improments he did. After order, waited for 2 weeks, Once the product is ready, you will recieve it in 2 days unless theres any complication at the courier side! Quality,Professionalism,Speed,Accuracy,Honesthy and Patience. Erictioh has it all!

haha no problem man, im really enjoying it to the max. recently i modded my exhaust system to straight flow. now i feel more power~ the vs responding to any modification to electrical system and adapting. wow

for normal maintainence free batteries, normally people change after 1 and a half year or 2 years. the life spam is suppose to be 2 years.

for wet battery i think u need add battery water frequently after 2 years of age. hmm i think so. correct me if im wrong.

but i dun think its the VS sucking power coz ive used on older cars than avanza example, my dad's E34 525 series, my dad's E36 318 My Mom's W 124E200/2.5litre engine, My toyota ViosG 2003, My Friend's Toyota ViosE 2003, My friend's Honda City 2004 idsi. none has this battery sucking power problem. All fitted with eric's grounding and vs

oh ya i forget 1 thing in my review too!!

Engine Start up
Every morning as usual engine is cold and normally will need some time to heat it up else your engine will be in a high rev mode. For my case my vios will be at 2000rpm if engine is cold, after engine warm up will be at 1000rpm at ilde. Normally if your engine is cold it take abit longer to start. but After the VS, turn key start! before vs i needa turn for few time the key. But i have push start so i just push the darn button for few times. You could be facing this problem too! Solution? get the dam vs and no more stupid spark plug misfire problem! feedback again from a very satisfied customer
