Hi everyone, may I ask?
I just checked with maxis page, I found that the rate plan was attractive to me, but I wanted to ask about the plan rate. Is that Free price for 24months available? What else we need to pay in order to get plan? 375 per month? Thats mean sooooo unreasonable?

I'm holding several very sensitive documents passed to me by my Maxis insider, browsing through it now.

What's interesting is there is a section for Outright Purchase-Non Contracted which states the pricing for the iPhones without contract.

iPhone 3GS 8GB RM1890, iPhone 4 16GB RM2290, iPhone 4 32GB RM2690.

However, NonContract Purchase are only allowed if they have purchased the first set of the three iPhones mentioned above on a contracted offer, meaning you can only get to buy a Buy-Outright iPhone 4 AFTER you have signed up an iPhone (3GS/4) under the new iValue Plans.

Please stop posting the RSVP links.

The rsvp/booking is only for existing Maxis users and i'll be taking the URL down as this is inappropriate.

Also, it's for those who were in the iPhone 4 registration of interest list. Not open for registration and it's no where to be found on Maxis website. The URL was emailed their customeres and not to the mass as they were their first priority listing.

Only if Maxis website does post up the registration/rsvp openly to the mass, you may proceed to post the URL. Until then, no rsvp URL allowed to be posted for reasons stated above.

Thank you

Several interesting tidbits from the documents I'm holding:-

The data package included in your iValue Plans/iData Plans are capped, and once they hit their data cap, speed will be throttled, and no extra charges will be imposed. No details on how much it would be throttled.

The list of agendas happening on the 25th, 25th, 26th and 27th:-

24th September 2010 12am-4am
Location: Level 5, The Gardens Ballroom, The Gardens Hotel & Residences, MidValley City

9pm 23rd Sept 2010
- Customers arrival and queueing via QMS ticket
- Foyer Entertainment and customer engagement activities

12am-4am 24th Sept 2010
-Launch and Customer Registration

Invited Numbers

1- Midnight Launch Event 24th September 2010 12am-4am = 1000pax
2- Day Launch 24th & 25th September 2010
- 10am - 2pm = 1000pax
- 2pm - 6pm = 1000pax
- 6pm - 10pm = 600 pax.

My own notes: Judging from the total "pax" here, it looks like for launch day, Maxis will only have 3600 units of iPhone 4s.

I cannot divulge the iPad plans since my insider still deem it secret.

not sure.. but i think maxis will be allocating all their attention on those 2 days to their current customers as a reward for loyalty and support. official public launch on 27/9.. so there's hope there.

It's not about halau customer, but to make sure they have enough for everyone. That said, I'm really hoping you don't need to buy an iphone with ivalue plan to buy one outright. That's borderline ridiculous and I'm taking a sack of salt with that one.
