for comparison
any idea how long n how often is the best for building mass cum muscle recovery?

My 'rest day' I do cardio or yoga.

1hour 30mins or 2hour max.

minimum 3x per week. normally 4x per week.
each session minimum 1 hour n 30min. max 2 hours.
start with treadmill, step inclines, around 30min. cycling 30min/ 10min.
another 1 hour / 30min : sit up, push up, weight lifting biceps triceps all la.

Used to go for 5 days a week, but now no time, so 3 days only. Around 1-2hours including cardio

I do weights everyday. But I've been training for 8 yrs. For the most effective programme, we should train as often as possible UP TO THE POINT that our body could recover. Try 3 times a week if you're a newbie or up to daily, depending on how advanced your body is.

3 times per weeks... each session, push your body to limit (if u workout ur upper chest, try touch it.. if it's on limit, u will felt like burning.. do not overdo it, or u'll injured urself)

allow 1 day rest between each workout - to allow ur body to recover @ ur muscle grew... maybe u can target yoga / cardio to fill the gap..
