Hi, Every1. I would like to get more information and clearness on current BANK BALANCE TRANSFER Promotion which offering by many bank :

1) Public Bank - BT XI, BT X & BT VIII -Public Bank
2) EON Bank - Get 1% cash rebate -EON Bank
3) UOB Bank - 0% interest -UOB
4) Ambank - Double Volume Balance Transfer (i using Ambank, but i want transfer other Bank CC to Ambank, is it ok? but Ambank Credit limit not enough)
5) Alliance Bank - 12 & 18month BT plan -Alliance Bank

Any other more bank offering attractive BT Plan now?

Which bank can approve in 1-2weeks time, and easy approve on it. Any one can explain to me more on BT for above Bank. Actually what is the meaning of upfront?

Thank you

From above 1 to 5, best is Public Bank 0% for 6 months.

Upfront means that thye charge you a certain % upon approval. Example, if you do balance transfer of RM1000 and if stated 2% upfront or processing or handling fees, it means you have to pay RM20 upon approval.

Click on my signature below for more on Balance Transfer, but the public bank comments are outdated with the 0% for 6 months.

Another thing, do you have Public Bank CC? PPB very stingy with their credit limit.

You may apply for CIMB/Direct Access where they also offering 0% for 6 months.

If you would like long duration, EON bank would be my choice. 36 month for 9.99%, 48 months forgot how much adi but quite low. Average 3%+ P.A.

If u can get high credit limit that enough to transfer all 30k then go for 1. Dont forget the RM50 GST if u plan to get few CC. Else you have to choose 1-2 CC with highest credit limit and acceptable interest rate.

If it is 0% for 6 months, you think you are able to pay off 30k in 6 months?
BT only the amount you able to pay off, else you will stuck at higher interest rate (new card will start with 17.5% pa while your old card might be lower to 13.5% pa if you pay minimum amount on time every month)
