Just flashed to agent's new 6.2.23111. So far ady encountered a white task bar freeze, other than that still alright. Hopefully it's as stable as the previous 6.1.25007.

On a side note, I just purchased a gadgetshieldz, at 6.99 USD it's quite a steal. I only found out after I paid that if you buy 2 or more, u'll get another 10% discount, should have bought 2 just in case. Hopefully it's not that difficult to put on. I really can't take the thickness of the phone when used together with a capdase pouch.

I don't have any problem viewing chinese characters but I did installed sunglobe for chinese viewing.

I didn't face much problem either, just with the ameba, but after installing 0.71b, it's running well again.

I think u should try some other 3rd party roms, I never looked back after I started flashing 3rd party roms. There are ample of roms for u to choose from.

Have you flashed to the new 25010? Agent removed the Bg4all, which I kinda like now, will stay with 23111. He mentioned that 23111 is fast, I don't really think so, especially when making calls + browsing contacts from the htc dialer. It's pretty sluggish for me.

Luckily I didn't flash yday night. Guess I'll stay on with 23111.

Downloading evilash rom now, decided to give it a try since many of you here mention that it's very fast. But I think I'll miss the eye candy of WM 6.5

Just flashed to evilash's rom. It's wonderful, installed arang's taskbar cab too, now I won't really miss 6.5's eye candy.

I'm facing a minor problem here, I've sync my contacts with my Facebook but when that person call, their pic wouldn't show up. This has happened when I was using older versions of valkyrie roms but of late all his roms doesn't has any problem in displaying the FB contact pics. Any work arounds?

Even on valkyrie rom I can last at least 2 days, with some occasional calls & texting, heavy data usage.

For those who are on evilash's rom, can you guys turn off the DTMF tone when dialing ? I can't seem to find the option, in WM 6.5 it's much easier to turn it off by just going into the phone options.

I think your battery might be the one causing the problem. My battery only drained 5% over the night yesterday.

I wasn't refering to the vibration but the DTMF dial tone.

DTMF is the sound when u press the keypad when dialing a number. I want to disable it.

In WM 6.5 can disable by going to settings -> personal -> phone -> disable keypad sound if I remember correctly. Anyone has any idea how I can disable it on 6.1? It's kinda irritating for me.

I just flashed to energy's rom newest rom just a while ago, and now I'm going to flash back to valkyrie again. Too much of self customization is needed and the htc sense homescreen is too much for me.

Evilash's rom was good & fast, just that I prefer 6.5 over 6.1 anytime. And my klaxon alarm didn't sound twice on evilash's rom. Luckily I could wake up in time.

Not that bad actually, I'm comparing with evilash's rom. Using iphone today plugin instead of htc sense, not too bad. A friend of mine told me, since u wanna copy so many of iphone stuff, might as well get an iphone lol

Well, iphone doesn't has a keypad first of all, and no multitasking which is a big NO for me.

Not forgetting the cumbersome customization process. I couldn't even stay with energy rom for more than 2 hours.

I received the gadgetshieldz today. Very fast postal service, I've ordered stuff from msia before using registered mail, and it took much longer to reach me.

Put it on 2 hours ago, but I didn't put on the screen protector as I prefer to use my current one. Not that difficult to put on but I realised most parts are not made exactly to size. But at such cheap price and free delivery, I've nothing to complain abt and I don't have to use my bulky capdase anymore.

I believe for HTC phones like the HD & HD2, energy roms are much better. My bro is using HD energy rom and he loves it.

Still on valkyrie for the time being, I kinda got used to the speed, so not much of a big problem.

I just had a look at the skin, there are a few bubbles here & there, kinda look ugly, hopefully it'll go off by itself later on. The same thing happened when I skinned my laptop myself, bubbles disappear after a day or 2.

I'm downloading the one with the cookie home tab cooked in. But I read from the comments that build 23562 has several bugs, bluetooth PAN issue, and all popup alerts are blank. Can you pls confirm?

Finally agent released new roms, based on build 23114 but it's not on his ftp list.

I also downloaded energy 21899 & 23559. Since I'm free this 2 days will give energy's rom another try again before trying agent's new release.

I just flashed to valkyrie 23114 a few hours ago. Everything is looking fine for now. Was on a flashing spree today, tried energy, jack but I still feel at home with valkyrie, maybe as I'm very used to his roms. Jack is the worst out of 3, very messy rom and no eye candy at all.

LOL.. how ironic right? I do love my X1 but I think I'll not get another SE smartphone anymore be it android or WM based. Normal phones are still ok.

The design of the X1 is nice but the build quality is really sucky. I dropped my other phones numerous times and non show signs of crack, but the other day I accidentally dropped my phone, less than half a meter only, small crack. That shows how bad the build quality is.
