juz wat i noticed is installing of application very fast.. almost 50% speed bump.

but the sense interface still normal speed. sometimes as other valkyrie rom, sense interface will hung. u can click to any place, but sense doesnt show up.
so far no major bug that i noticed tho..

haha... if u jz changed into smartphone categories (BB,winmo,android,iphone) then u nid to get used to the modding and upgrading.. haha..

i can see almost all firmware for smartphone got bug. so do our xperia x1 stock rom which is very terrible in bug fixing..

but since this is winmo.. u got no choice.. u using stock rom for so long is such a complements to winmo.. i had never use the same rom more than 3 weeks.. what a shame..

anyway, recently im trying energyrom and also valkyrie and genesis.

genesis got the worst among these 3 but still easily give me 2 extra hours of battery power. Energyrom giving me 4 extra hours. I jz got my xperia flashed to Valkyrie v6.6 with extendir.
my battery life has been going insane today.

my past experience as i said earlier. 1 battery 6 hours. so from 7am to 1pm. 1 battery flat. i changed to secondary battery then pull me all the way to 7pm. both flat then.

but since i use new build rom recently. they easily give me from 7am to 3pm. then energyrom could last me till home about 5pm. while valkyrie now. since 7am this morning, i still got 20% left now! yes, 8pm.
from 7am until 8pm now n still counting.

im so surprise with this new valkyrie rom. definitely a good rom ( minus volume key bug, sometimes it shows, mostly it dun. )
but with extendir, i can see my application installation speed up 50% and also little bit faster sms loading.
n faster keyboard typing but still consider very slow, at least it wont hung for 6-7 seconds as i got badly in energy.

anyway, i nid ppl to confirm it.. i hope im not on luck this time..

nope... i has been months never use my keyboard already..

but youliang said his keyboard works better when the phone's body its hot.. someone might try it out by heating ur phone up..

the problem u said is not bug, but compatibilty issue. which the nice full screen black colored background isnt usable in wm6.5.3 build. but can use in all those start-on-top build.

while, recently new rom volume key build got bug. when u press the volume rocker button. it doesnt even pop up the ugly bar to let u choose. so freaking annoying!

sometimes, vol up for sure wont work. sometimes vol down works in particular place. but mostly it failed.

what we can do is, slide to the 'settings' in sense, then 'sounds & display' .. then adjust it there..
still nid a better solution for that...

if u mean to goes bak to the same rom. u can use spb backup to full backup and able to restore to exactly the same state b4 u hardreset.
it will restore ur installed application n most probably settings too.

but beware that it might restore ur 'bug' too.

if u mean to goes to another rom or wan a clean rom after hardreset.
use pimbackup to backup contacts/calendar/sms/task.. it wont backup settings / program.

its like something messed up. suddenly everything become so laggy.. i cant even reply a text or make a phone call properly. the sense interface keep hung there..

mayb i would say energy rom speed quite consistent throughout the time im using it. about 2 weeks.

while agent rom, im not sure whether its mine. it juz hung for no reason after a few days im on it.

well, now, im using valkyrie v6.0 28323.. thats the best stability over features rom i think..

oh yeah, my battery life quite good on both the energy n valkyrie new rom..

i can assign ringtone to contact. but only phone call can.. assign different text message sound nid 3rd party software.
i can simply assignment ringtone to contact by go to that contact n select ringtone there..

i heard it only plain color icon for sense isnt it? cut off all the color n become much faster..

i mean the GTX theme.. its so plain.. mostly mono color icon.. that y its fast i heard..

not like the normal sense 2.5, too colorful until our x1 GPU render also slowdown.. haha...

BTW, from what i heard. X1 is using ATi 's GPU. while other HTC devices is using Qualcomm 's QTv GPU. HTC developed a great driver for QTv, to make things compatible, out ATi 's GPU driver is making a framework to make things created for QTv is compatible with our ATi's.

due to this constraint, and also lacks of driver development, X1's graphic is terrible low powered. furthermore, from what i heard again, this GPU so underpowered until cuts the CPU's speed to only 400mhz.
tats y both our Graphic n Processing is lower compared to HTC's devices.

again, this is 'from what i heard' a.k.a rumor...

what i got is the music tab din show chinese song name properly.
im too lazy to install nitrogen, so use the tf3d's audio manager. which is terrible.. hahaha..

how would u compare i780 keyboard to BB 9700?

i feel 9700 keyboard quite small too.. but i can still type comfortably even tho im pretty new to BB. the curvature of keyboard they got is quite nice.

i downloaded v6.7 23xxxtr2.5 this morning.
apparently gt caller id bug.
when incoming call, the pic show blank, n no phone no.
dun noe is it me alone.

oh yeah, last few days. i hit into chinese (china) forum. downloaded some CHS (chinese simplified) rom.
its awesome too!
the rom size itself is 230MB. took little bit longer to finish flash. but then, once i booted into winmo. i was quite shocked that, everything goes smoothly. sms and all is fast without much laggy.
the thing that i like the most is, there is no ezinput but instead replaced with some other awesome input which is no lag at all. i can type super fast without much worry any lag. and the keyboard got predictive input, correct most of my input error.

the chinese rom, i can swipe through the 'start menu'. i see no lag.

oh yeah dude, everytime im on energy. its fast, but the ezinput is terribly laggy, and to load a sms for me to reply could took 2-3 minutes. u got that problem? my sms is about 3000 now.
