folks, help needed.
I am having some problem with my X1.
It failed to re-charge battery unless I charge it thru my lappie USB.
Any idea?

my X1 back from service centre almost 2 weeks edi

now on V6.1.25007 and i think this is the most stable ROM ever in terms of freeze, SOD, responsiveness\

anyone had similiar problem with me? my email setting (schedule time) always back to default. means the setting are not permanently saved.it will sometime go back to default setting

@rkwan67: yup..only happen with my exchange account, pop/imap no issue

I also think that your charger adapter is spoilt. Best way to check is to borrow a new adapter or try to charge other devices using that charger to make sure

He lost it when he was talking to a "lenglui"... he actually wanted to give the "lenglui" his X1 but instead, he gave the battery instead xD

finally, my phone die and OOW...

it reset itself once a day, and crash for no reason & wipe of the whole phone by itself exclude my memory card =,=
it makes me reflash to any ROM like twice a day =\

ya, i said that, but they still telling that the different region bla bla and so on... anyway, changing phone soon. Still, X1 still 1 of the best phone i used so far, fit my business and personal purpose.

GPS, performance, surfing all perfect! just the issue of battery and need to clean the keyboard once every few months =\

Evilash ROM very good? I might want to give it a try since I can almost forgo any WM6.1 disadvantages since Sense 2.5 is quite complete.

lol, i've tried task29, and it still reset and reformat itself... seem like my x1 really kena cancer badly liao

evilash ROM is uber fast.
But the start menu needs a little attention.

Is there anyway I can get the same start menu such as in Valkyrie & Energy ROMs?

I thought I see the same start menu in Valkyrie Windows Mobile 6.1 ROMs too.

Just flashed to agent's new 6.2.23111. So far ady encountered a white task bar freeze, other than that still alright. Hopefully it's as stable as the previous 6.1.25007.

On a side note, I just purchased a gadgetshieldz, at 6.99 USD it's quite a steal. I only found out after I paid that if you buy 2 or more, u'll get another 10% discount, should have bought 2 just in case. Hopefully it's not that difficult to put on. I really can't take the thickness of the phone when used together with a capdase pouch.

No logo la.. just wordings only.. anyways.. majority pppl now using which ROM on X1.. coz my energyrom very lag d.. wanna try new rom which doesnt have sms problem...

tiny bug as in? just simple words will do like, sms lag or sms client not really good, etc etc.. haha..

Anyone tried itje's TouchIT roms lately? He released one called TouchIT Xperiance or something that's on build 23052 but what is different is its running native 6.5 XIP for X1i which is something pretty new lately.

Dunno why i have a feeling the word native there made it sounds that 6.5 is built for X1i thus faster

FYI to those who don't understand a thing, XIP is like drivers for WinCE where it should tell the OS how to access the memory locations on the devices. All ROMs so far are using XIP ported from other devices which would have some performance loss?

Cause from my understanding, "driver" is something that could make lots of difference in terms of performance on Windows we use daily right? So does it matter on WinCE?

Trying evilash rom now. so far happy with speed and getting used to the interface.
have a problem though, phone qwerty doesn't mix well with evilash it seem?
All the numeric and symbol pad on the phone doesn't seem to work well. all lari tempat.
its normal for evilash rom or just me?

the sunglobe can type chinese?? coz i juz found that it can read chinese only..

Downloading evilash rom now, decided to give it a try since many of you here mention that it's very fast. But I think I'll miss the eye candy of WM 6.5

Just flashed to evilash's rom. It's wonderful, installed arang's taskbar cab too, now I won't really miss 6.5's eye candy.

I'm facing a minor problem here, I've sync my contacts with my Facebook but when that person call, their pic wouldn't show up. This has happened when I was using older versions of valkyrie roms but of late all his roms doesn't has any problem in displaying the FB contact pics. Any work arounds?

I think your battery might be the one causing the problem. My battery only drained 5% over the night yesterday.

I wasn't refering to the vibration but the DTMF dial tone.

DTMF is the sound when u press the keypad when dialing a number. I want to disable it.

In WM 6.5 can disable by going to settings -> personal -> phone -> disable keypad sound if I remember correctly. Anyone has any idea how I can disable it on 6.1? It's kinda irritating for me.

BTW, the evilash messaging client is threaded or single?

My sense kept stalling i'm a little annoyed thou i can still somehow force the start menu to come up to soft reset... >.<
